total 3rd party apps: 46
3rd party apps on my iphone now: about 20ish.
I have about 40 currently on there. Every backup takes about an hour, which is why I cancel it almost every time.

Updated my 16GB 3G. Love the new "none of the apps boot" and "all your media is invisible features". Oh wait, no... they aren't new are they?
Restoring my iPhone YET AGAIN. If it's not fixed in 2.1 I'm going back to cassettes, LCD games and payphones.
Fantastic news! Onwards with the backup then...Backing up is so much faster... you don't even have to time it, you can SEE it on the bar in iTunes!...
Many people say 'this update makes my phone feel snappier' after these firmware releases. Well, I'd just like to note that you're doing a full OS reinstall and sync/powerdown/powerup when you update your phone. So you probably do feel that things are faster, but they would probably feel that way if you restarted your phone's OS every day or so. All of these Apps doing weird things to our phones that can cause sluggishness. A reboot fixes a lot of that.
You attempted to switch from 3G to edge while on a call? If you attempt to do this your call will get dropped every time. I could be wrong but I don't think you can switch from 3G to edge and vice versa while on a call. Seems like I remember reading that somewhere.

anyone know if i can jailbreak my touch again with the new update???
Is this a bug or some other limitation?
Hopefully they'll fix the annoying issue with the camera taking 6 seconds to turn on after you open the camera app.
Updates always seem faster because it's basically doing a hard reboot of the hardware in the process. Your phone will bloat up again after a few days of use...
still a lag in contacts
