iPhone forced passcode reset

Was on my homescreen and got a popup forcing me to change my passcode to a new one (couldn't do anything else).

Strangely it only let me make a 4-digit one :/

I'm not jail broken or anything.

Do you have your work email setup on your phone? Mobile Device Management policies can affect how passcodes function and stuff, IIRC.
