i wish they'd improve the home button. it feels like crap compared to the ipad's. i've used about 8-10 different iphones, and all had cheap feel home buttons. you press them, and they don't press evenly. they always sink to either left or right side, never straight in the middle.
Bad luck, I'd have to say. I'm still quite happily running my original iPhone 2G and the home button is extreme solid.

Oh, and for everyone else, you realize that anything you have to say is completely invalidated as soon as you throw out the "fanboy" card? That word essentially just gives the rest of us license to laugh, mock you, and ignore anything you ever post again.

when purchasing my first smart phone I looked at the MOTO Droid HTC Droid & the iPhone the DROID was too big IMHO for a Phone the iPhone is a perfect balance size wise I doubt they will change it. Most people dont want to cary around a piece of luggage IE their cell phone!

Obviously a guess.. Better do some research because you are wrong. And who said anything about them should be looking like an Android? That is ridiculous. All some are saying is maybe a different front look should be needed and it doesnt have to be a huge change. Again, all they did was change the sides and add some glass to the back and most here are saying how beautiful it is and love the change even if it is a china doll and breaks more easily.

And no, they want a piece of Apples market share for sellng phones and the ARE cutting into it now. So, the only thing correct about your post at all is Apple likes to be different but they do so in a stubbornly way because Jobs is a douche.

"a guess" - care to Google who leads worldwide car sales for the past decade? The GM case is more complicated but the point is still the same. Companies employ different strategy for their products. With the iPhone - Apple in did it right.

Jobs may be very well be a douche but how is it relevant? Apple, the company, does well with the average consumers - that's what matters. The worst thing a company can do to a product is to listen to the hardcores fans or foes.

The best iPhone concept ever...
iphone-ultra-thin-concept.jpg

From reading on the many people hating my ideas or thoughts of what we might see in future generation of the iPhone, just look at this photo from one of the posters.

This is exactly what I mean and what I believe Steve Jobs would love to make.

You can still wrap your hands around this device in comfort, The thinness is amazing, the screen size is the change I've been talking about that changes the whole front of the device and gives it a new look.

The home button finally changes and looks to be something we might see.

What's so wrong with this? people in this post are just replying that they are happy with the iPhone 4 front. I am TOO! But I am talking about future generation.

So your saying you still want the same old front with every next generation?

I'm putting out ideas, stop being so afraid of change and waiting for Steve Jobs to come out with it for you to agree with other peoples idea.
