iPhone 12 Pro iPhone in China. Going through clearance process. UPS submitted documentation to a government agency?

Same here for mine shipped on 29th.
The original delivery date on UPS was Nov 2, but it’s currently shown Information Unavailable. Apple’s estimated date is Nov 5. Hope it’s not delayed...

Have no fear. Your phones should arrive on or before the Apple delivery date, even with the customs issues.

Our two iPhones made it to our home in NYC, one day earlier then Apple stated.

However, my troubles just began. Verizon could not activate our phones. When a VZ phone is purchased trough Apple, VZ taps into Apple’s database as part of the activation. Because of preorder glitches, both our phones have multiple open orders attached to each number, although we received our phones. This makes activation impossible. VZ spoke to Apple and at the level they communicate. neither Apple nor VZ can fix the issue.

A resolution requires Apple Executive Office to request senior DBA engineering to correct the issue which may take weeks or months.

we have beed advised to return the phones to the Apple Store for a full refund. Our only option might then be to purchase a sim free phone or more likely purchase at a VZ store. I am PISSED.

After this, having a phone stalled in customs is no big deal.

Yeah mine has that “ tentative date “ also . As well as a triangle with a exclamation mark saying “Exception”

EwhT normal. My wife’s did it and it ari Ed on launch day. Mine was held up probably at factory. Says it again. It’s about twelv hours on a plane and if it arrives in your city buy a certain time in the morning it will be delivered that day. If you look up flight trackers for ups flights you can track where it’s at

Update: Finally in the US and going to Louisville, KY. Then i assume after that it goes to its final destination. Crossing fingers it arrives tomorrow at my house.

Is it too much to hope that mine simply wasn’t updated? The last notice I saw was yesterday (11/16) like yours with the “your package is in transit, we’re updating plans to schedule your delivery” but still in ZhengZhou... I still have the exception / tentative notice on the UPS app.

Mine finally made it Anchorage today. UPS had an estimated date of by tonight but given how far away it is, I’ll just hope I get to see it tomorrow!
My MacBook Pro is still in Korea though, I hope I can get it by end of the week as well.

Mine eventually got delivered but my wife's is stuck like yours. Delivery date was originally 11/27 but it's been stuck in clearance process since 11/23. It really sucks!

I called apple and they told me to call back after 11/30. But they did not say why it’s stuck in clearance. Called ups and they gave generic answer and since i ordered from China I need to wait.

Mine also was supposed to have a delivery date of 11/30 but has been stuck for over a week. I’m guessing they are all together.

Well my phone must be in the same pallet trying to clear customs. ordered mine on 11/14 and it’s been sitting in clearance in process since the 23rd. My first eta of 11/25 now the second eta of 11/30 isn’t going to happen. Tad bit disappointed at this point.

I ordered 2 phones from Apple on 11/14 my husbands shipped right away cleared customs and he got his back on the 21st. Then we decided to get my daughter one from our phone carrier order the wrong one returned it and ordered the correct one and got it today.

We've submitted documentation to a Government agency and are awaiting a response. / Brokerage released the package. It will be processed through a clearing agency before final release to UPS.

Today I reached out to UPS and got to know "customs in China has not provided the authorization to export the package, this has been clear at customs in the US but we have not received the confirmation for the customs in China, in this case, my best recommendation for you will be to get in contact with Apple to know why customs has not provided the authorization yet". Tried reaching out to Apple today couple of times and waited each time for nearly 25 minutes, but unable to talk with any agents.

Did anyone received trade-in kit?

I received the trade in Kit about a week ago on the 23rd. Ordered phone on the 17th, with expected delivery of 30th, and I'm still waiting for it. My phone is stuck in clearance as well. This is frustrating.

Exactly and whenever trying to reach Apple, there is no proper response.

Apple provided scripted information. They are monitoring the shipment, if it does not arrive after 3 days then they will start investigation. They blamed UPS for the delay. Wasted 30 mins with apple customer service to get no meaningful information.

I ordered my iphone 12 pro on Nov 3rd. It was supposed to be delivered by Nov 30th but the Apple site changed the estimated date to "arriving soon". UPS has said "clearance in progress" for 10 days now. It's so annoying spending this much money on a phone and not getting any updates that there's been a problem.

They are now telling me that my new arrival estimate is Dec 3-10, it was Nov 30th originally. Why don't you order it from your local apple store? The nearest ones to me don't have it in stock (12 pro max), they did over the weekend. If my local store had it, I would go get it, and whenever the one from China comes I would just return it. So disappointed in Apple.
