Iphone is not just about cool

I have to say the freshmen on the iPhone not longer exists because it's released
a year ago.But what it appeals to me is its' smooth user experience and lots of apps. And retina display is still a cool stuff.Even I have iPad 2,I use iPhone 4 more frequently than iPad.

It's just cool for teens to be rebellious. The iPhone is such a mainstream phone & household name, teens would rather rebel against getting one whether the alternative is a better choice or not.

Excuse me?

I'm fifteen and use an iPhone 4 and both of my parents have iPhones as well. So I guess that automatically triggers a thought process that makes me want to leave the iPhone? No. And all I ever see now'a days is fellow classmates with the iPhone 4. You'll see a few Android phones here and there and a few feature phones, but besides that it's all iPhone.

I'm sure my opinion isn't necessary, and I'm probably beating a dead horse, but, who cares if it's not cool in colleges? It's a great, useful, phone and that's why I love it.

In my opinion, the Android based phones are much like Windows based computers were in the 90s. Numerous manufacturers using the non-proprietary software on faster/better hardware resulting in "cool", new devices with a major software/hardware disconnect. The iPhone is similar to the Mac now in a way that it's proprietary software and hardware marriage works more smoothly and easier than the "cool" competition. Sure you may have slightly older technology with some quirky restrictions, however your phone works seamlessly with your Mac and the device makes your life easier with numerous apps.

Android is to Windows as iPhone is to Mac OS X. I think the lifecycle of the smartphone is eerily going to closely resemble the PC.
