First impressions:
Size:
The way it fits in my hand is (almost) perfect. The width is perfect, however, the way my fingers get positioned on the back of the phone sometimes has them just on the camera tumor. Not a big issue, but every time it happens, I notice it. Wasn’t planning on getting a case, but it seems like now I have to just to get rid of that Nuisance. Ideally, some sort of MagSafe back plate that can be added to the phone to provide the same thickness. Also the phone flat on a table is more annoying with the wobble.
Battery:
This is where my real concern lies. The battery reminds me of my first gen SE, its going quick! Mid day im already near 50% without charging it. I feel like typically this wont be an issue, as I can charge my phone on normal days when I am home. But there are occasions where I am out all day, whether for work or on the town, and I dont know how I feel about having to worry about having a battery pack or charger on me when my 11 Pro lasted me all day.
This has been my dream phone for years, but now that I have it, I dont know if its really what I want, mostly because of the battery. Im on the fence about going with the 12 Pro just to have the square edge design with a slightly larger battery, or going back to my 11 Pro altogether. Not sure of Apples logic of putting smaller batteries in all of their new phones (compared to last years) with the more power-consuming 5G. I wouldn’t have minded the phones being thicker to accommodate larger batteries.
