When the 6 came out last year almost all the models dropped to 2-3 weeks in 20 minutes and here it is 10 hours after the launch and the majority of all models are still available for launch day. Obviously people aren't upgrading for the 3D touch

While the 6S is a great iPhone it's not a must have

First of all, you're wrong about the 6s+. They're sold out(even the non-rose colors).

Also, you're assuming the stock level is the same and it's not. Apple ordered LOT more phones this time around compared to year ago(according to the news stories). Last year, there were also many news stories of supply issues in the beginning. That meant that the supplies were smaller than usual last year.

You have no proof either way. Someone said something somewhere is not proof. You might be both wrong or right.

No 6S plus models left for launch day. All have 2-3 weeks or longer.

"Pockets"? You're kidding, right? It's the other way around. There are "Pockets" of more tolerant people, but the vast majority still go by stereotypes. With a kid in middle school, I'm guessing every middle school boy in the country would bully, tease or beat up another boy if he showed up on school campus with a Rose Gold iPhone.

If you say so. Perpetuate that stereotype and bully-mentality!

"someone" said something? No, the actual manufacturer of iPhones(foxconn) said this.'

Either way, we'll know when Apple announces their first week/weeknd sales numbers, and we'll see WHO is right.

Show me a press release or a official website where they said so, otherwise it just rumouors like everything else so far.

I think it has a lot to do with the price increases around the world. In many countries the iPhone has had price increases of 10-20% compared to last years model.
What low sales? Where are you getting this info? Just because you can get a phone 3 hours later and have it on release day does not mean its not selling as well. We have no idea if production has been increased over last year.

I think it's pretty clear-cut. Apple produced around 70-80 million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus handsets this year. I think it's still going to sell extremely well. You can't judge the sales when pre-orders haven't even been live for one day yet.

LOL at the comments saying the phone isn't selling well. Every other year, people say the same stuff about S models. And everytime they outsell the previous generation's model. Same ****, different year

I think when people see how beautiful the rose color is they will want it but it will be sold out and demand will be higher.

What I find hilarious is that I hear nothing but gender roles and stereotypes from feminists posts online, but I've only seen women across multiple threads complaining about men ordering a pink phone. What a joke. :p
Yes it's pissing me off! So all men should complain that women are ordering space grey phones? It's so childish!

I'm downsizing to a 6s from 6+ but would have gotten a 6c... Ordered a Rose Gold and if some people think it's feminine or gay I don't give a damn. I'm not feminine at all but my husband looks like Peter Pan ;)

Forum user from Hong Kong here, pre-orders went much smoother than last year but saying that I still experienced site slowdown and lockup for the first 3 minutes. My first order locked up and never recovered, shame I would of had my phone on the 25th my second order (first successful order) was already at 3-4 weeks shipping date from today...

Checked about 30minutes after 15:01 and all orders were 4-6 weeks shipping date from today, just checked now and all iPhone 6S options have been sold out. However without knowing the server capability upgrades and iPhone order numbers by Apple it's hard to gauge how successful the iPhone 6s will be.

The RAM increase alone should make the 6s a much more usable phone

I'm hoping the 6s & 6s Plus actually have more than 1GB of RAM since Apple isn't mentioning it anywhere, no one will know until they get the phone. 1GB just seems so old, considering there are phones on the market today that have 3GB & 4GB of RAM.

It's your right to get that color bro! Enjoy it! It's really nice!

When I think of pink, I'm thinking of the colour of a river with blood flowing thru it after someone gets decapitated.

It's funny that none of the top models that sold out are Sprint. They're the joke of the U.S. wireless industry.

I'm picking up my 128GB space gray 6S from St. Louis on the evening of the 25th. I'm pretty annoyed that Apple's new iPhone upgrade program requires you to physically visit their store. I even have to bring an electric bill for crying out loud! They wouldn't even let me choose a later pickup date. It's 2015 Apple. What is this crap?

What's funny is I used to always get black/space gray iPhones until the 6+ I decided to go with white/silver. I don't think I will ever go back to the black front for one simple reason, fingerprints. My black iPhones always had fingerprints all over and I was constantly wiping the front of the phone. With the white front it always looks nice and clean.
Does the black portion of the screen show fewer fingerprints or smudges? I would love that, though I don't know why it would. Maybe it's just that the white portion doesn't show them so overall you're seeing fewer. I have a Space Grey 6 and the screen always looks terrible. I'm constantly cleaning it. I got a Rose Gold this year and was considering a screen protector to help with the fingerprints and smudges. My oleophobic coating is always gone within a couple months.
