I ordered one 6s and one 6splus T-Mobile. Does these phones comes unlocked like last year? I didn't saw the option for unlock on Apple site when I order.

The truth is all if my none "s" phones I didn't really encountered any problems. However I have crazy OCD when it comes to taking care of my phones. Lol! Bend gate? Nope! Scuffgate on black iPhone 5? Maybe a tiny smidgen. Attenagate on iPhone 4. Nope. But to be clear I'm happy for the 6s release. I would like to have it but as I wrote in almost all of the posts today, I rather get the iPad pro this year and wait on the 7.
thats nice, but IMHO the iPad pro is not worth it, for that a surface pro is the much better buy this time around

I must be missing the subtleties. It’s a distinction without a difference?
Actually a big difference. you can't remove the hidden fee of your iPhone price inside the 2 year contract, you will always pay the same even if your contract has expired. next and other installment plans once you finish paying your phone that charge becomes $0 until you decide to upgrade to something you want and save for.

I think the low sales count has to do with the following:
1. Lack of interest for this years model
2. Not much of an upgrade
3. No 2-year option on Apple site

For me it was 3 & 2. Even now, almost 3 hours later I can still get a Space Grey 64 and have it by 25 September.

1) No proof
2) Not true, everything but resolution has changed.
3) Huh?

Or
More likely, in the real world,
4) They produced enough (supposedly order 85-90M...
What a novel idea!

See, fixed your lapse in logic for you.

Really, must be fun using those crap to non existent surface pro tablet app, why not by a Mac laptop then...
Please define how getting a much worse tablet is better if you actually need/want a tablet?

I don't want to get off-topic, but the Surface Pro 4 will still be way ahead of the iPad Pro. But then again, some people may not need a OSX. Apple is clearly making iOS and OSX more integrated every year, so it could be Apple produces a fully functional OSX iPad with a 10nm CPU.

Rose gold jesus piece...

My wife purchased the RG, so I decided to order the silver. An iPad Pro in RG would be amazing!
That would be true! But for now Space grey all the way buddy! RG for sure on the 7!

You are entitled to your opinion and that's fine! But I do want that iPad pro! I only had a iPad 3 which is now broken. Time to upgrade!

So aa funny thing happened to me during pre-order frenzy this morning. at 2:58 AM (EST) the app store opened up and I started to configure the iPhone 6S Plus that I wanted. I got as far as the "pre-order" bubble, and then it went back to the message again. I kept refreshing the app, and at 3:00 on the dot, it did it again. I got all the way to where I was at 2:58.. and then again, it went back to the message. After I kept refreshing the app, finally at 3:06, I got through and made my preorder. I got launch day delivery date and confirmation, so I'm happy about that. But during that brief time, I was cursing the app store, literally whispering expletives (cant wake the kids & wife) at 2:58, all the way till I got the order completed. It gives you an adrenaline rush, like trying to beat the clock, because you don't know how many other millions of people are trying the same thing as you are.
In a semi-related situation, I needed apple care on my kids iPad, so I do the call apple and put a hold on the CC route, to get the battery taken care of, and while on the phone, we had a brief discussion about the pre-orders this morning. He told me that a lot of people had called upset because they could not get the preorder in, or some other relevant problem. He just said a lot of folks were really mad, and a lot of folks wanted the rose gold option, as that was the main problem. I don't know why it was more difficult this year over any other. It should've been easier, with all the financing options to get Next or to buy it outright, there were so many more options this year, than any of the other iPhone releases. And without putting down $200 + on the phone. (minus the applecare.)

im glad im not in **the same boat as folks with delayed shipments!

i ordered around 830am this morning, and was quite easily able to secure a iPhone 6s 128gb in the rose gold color. :)

not to mention, with my order, i received a $150 prepaid gift card courtesy of xfinity!

Well that sucks. My work has to place my order so it won't get placed until Monday. Guess I'll be waiting a while for my new phone. Unless business customers some how get priority.

See, fixed your lapse in logic for you.

2) Everything, but the resolution? Are you sure? Say, that phone looks um...rather identical to me.

People in general are extremely visual, why pay again to get the same form factor?

Logic is not allowed here :)
I complete agree with you, and if I have more money I will upgrade as well.
However, many of my friends/family members, don't really care much of anything. Can you believe there are people that will buy a iPhone, not use iTune, no touch ID, and not even bother to register an account to run iMessage? Yep, I know a few. But if you just give them a new look, that's all it takes :)

I can't imagine the amount of returns that will occur for the rose gold phone - for those that bought online might be a bit surprised by the color.

exactly. the surface pro is trying to be a laptop and a tablet. The problem is that it's too underpowered to be a laptop and too clunky to be a tablet.

As for the iPad Pro, I am waiting for the price to come down a little and for apple to implement 3D touch. At its current price, I can simply get an entry level rMBP.

Lol i know. I desperately try to teach my mom the convenience of SIRI still. God she brings in her phone and for example she'll say how do i get directions to.....****ING ASK SIRI!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Not quite sure what you mean by "where"? It's TMO's jump on demand option. You effective receive $200 off MSRP. You do need to run s credit check and join JoD but you can just pay it off AFAIK. Total for a 16gb 6s comes to $560 IIRC

Hey there. I looked into this. I was talking with customer service and here is what I found out. The MSRP is actually $650. It's really just a savings of $90 from what you mention. The final total is actually $524 on that plan as you mention IF and only if you don't pay it off. If you decide to pay in advance, you lose the promotional pricing. I can show you the direct messages that I had on Twitter with their customer support.

So... The only way that you actually are able to get the savings as you mention is only by staying active on JOD for the 18 months and make this final payment to purchase the phone.

I had the surface pro 3 i7, in my opinion is neither underpowered nor clunky, I used it for a week with my 12 MAcBook, in many ways it was a superior device depending on the application.

If I used windows machines, it's very nice.

You should take a look at T-Mobile, they'll pay up to $650 per line to payoff whatever you owe if you switch.

I hate to break it to you, whenever a dealer promises something that is too good to be true, get it in writing. Dealers in the past have been known to promise this and then renege once they discover it comes out of their commission or the store has to pay for it.

Except it's not a dealer promise, it's not something some kid behind the desk promised. It a well advertised deal. Just go look on T-Mobile website and you'll find the same deal.

Plus bill submittal is done online, can't renege that.
