I don't get it either! I ordered one in the first 2-3 minutes of the ATT site going live at 12:01 and immediately it said that an estimate was set for Oct 16-23. I even had autofill and iCloud keychain on..somethings fishy.
Why doesn't the black iPhone get another color option. 3 white phone color options and only 1 black? I would like one with the option of.... BLACK! space grey is the only option, why?
Same here got the email confirmation at 2:07 AM CST and says 10/13-10/26.
I am still hoping to get my 6S+ on 9/25.
Atleast I better. I mean order complete and paid 7 minutes after opening.
Did you order from Apple it AT&T or other carrier?
I ordered mine through MyATT app as I used the 2 year renewel because of me being grandfathered in with unlimited Data.
I learned a long time ago that if possible, go thru Apple to get a AT&T iPhone. Much faster shipping. I ordered a 128gb space grey 6 plus at 10am and have sept 25 delivery. Att can be a nightmare with delivery.

Started through At&T but ran into issues w/ Next upgrade not allowing me to upgrade without paying off the complete remaining balance (no big deal since it was $300 and i'll just sell the phone for $450+), so I paid off the balance and just went through the Apple Store app.
I agree. I usually use apple app but couldn't this year as AT&T stopped letting 3rd party retailers upgrade us using the 2 year renewel. My only option if I used apple was go Next ( lose my unlimited) or pay out right.
So I had no choice but to use AT&T this year to be able to upgrade using the 2 year renewel and keeping my unlimited.
Still can't believe 7 minutes would push me back to 10/13. I am thinking it will change and I will get it on 9/25
Yea, sometimes you get in a situation where you have to go thru them. Hope you get yours on the 25th. Seems like they put that October date up so quick to cover their backs.

I don't have a preference.
I started with the original iPhone. The next year, I replaced it with the 3G, and signed a two-year contract. I've been signing two-year contracts ever since, so I always get the non-S version. Now that the carriers are moving away from subsidized phones, I might alter my plans a bit, but my current contract is still in effect, so my next upgrade will be the iPhone 7.
I know I miss out on the new features in the S models, like the compass in the 3GS, Siri in the 4S, TouchID in the 5S, and now 3D Touch in the 6S. But I haven't been unhappy with the non-S models. They pretty much got the previous S model's new features, plus new form factors, plus added features of their own: 3G data and the App Store on the 3G, Retina display on the 4, LTE on the 5, and Apple Pay on the 6.
My thought precisely after seeing the rose gold watch in person. I think a lot of guys may end up returning them.
maybe because they can't anodized darker than that but i heard aluminum 7000 series will become more darker
and if im not mistaken, i read a rumor that they'll be returning to glass like iPhone 4 with the 7.
This I agree. I would probably get the gold version then get the black bezel and swap. I'm just waiting for late December/early January before I get mine. If not, then I'll just get the Space Gray version.

- M9 in integrated in SOC which allows a always on Siri, a major upgrade
- Probably 2G of Ram
- Faster Touch ID (hw upgrade, not just software)
- Bluetooth 4.2
- The A9 is a big jump in performance in both CPU and GPU
- Major improvement in Camera 12MP, Live Photo (hw based), 240 fps, OIS for video too.
- Major improvement in Facetime camera and highly customized adaptive flash for it
- 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO
- Supports faster 4G LTE (LTE-A)
- New color
That's one hell of number of upgrades

Honestly, this a big change internally which impacts the way we'll use the phone altogether. The outside of the phone is pure aesthetics. You know, rose gold and all that. The innards are where the action is and this phone is a complete upgrade from the 6/6 Plus. New processor. New camera. Addition of the Taptic Engine. New interactive display -- way beyond multitouch. And even the outside is 'changed' with it being made of a stronger (we hope) alloy.
Watch for iFixit's teardown. Compare it to the 6/6 Plus and then tell me they just crammed new guts into the old phone.

What? You do know the surface 3 and surface pro run full window right? And that they both come w the stylus included...
