The problem with the Apple site is it doesn't allow you to pay full price, when eligible for and upgrade. It only offers you the upgrade price. That was my issue last year. Didn't want to lose my unlimited, was not under contract, and when I tried to order, it would only offer the upgrade price. Had to go through the verizon web site to buy full price with no changes to my plan.
Does Verizon allow the phone to be charged to the account? I could have sworn when the 4S came out that they didn't allow that. I was thinking this because what I'd do then is preorder and have it charged to my account, trade my phone in to them and apply the gc to the account. I went to the store and they told me they'd give me $225 for it, so I'd maybe get the 6+ 128gb and after taxes it'd be around $300
I have to call... so not until 7AM Central time. So that means I probably won't get the first shipment of phones
I had the same situation with the iphone 5 a few years ago and had to call in at 7am, I still received my iphone 5 on launch day. Of course this would all be dependent on availability.
Yes in the past you could edit your order after placing it but I thought I remembered a few people last year reporting this no longer worked.
sprint info needed to upgrade?
I am already going to change my Sprint account address to the address I want my iPhone shipped to, but what info will I need other than the account pin when I order? I am on a family member's plan and obviously can't call them to ask any info I don't know in the middle of the night, but don't want to miss out on that first batch!

i don't know sprint logistics but if you are on a plan that another person is main holder, i would think you would need to have the main holder do the upgrade as they may require SS# and such, just give them a buzz when you can and ask what to do so everything is set before friday, if first person is not helping, call back or ask for manager
okay. the main account holder is my grandpa, and he lives across the country, so i generally do the updates on my own, i just want to make sure i have any and all necessary info on hand (i can get his SS if that is needed for upgrade!). i just don't remember off-hand which info spring requires. i can deff double check i have everything with sprint though, good call. thanks!
set up your apple space station (i used to work on trading floor, i miss it) surround yourself with your computer with apple website + att open, some snacks and devices opened to app, remove screen lock on phone/ipad + screen saver on computer - most important have macrumors open, as people will post what is working best
based on the 5, the best way was the apple app on the iPhone
def get his SS#, birth date, just to be on safe side, does the bill go to him or to you? just make sure if you order from apple.com for example that your credit card + billing address and sprint address are the same, if may not be necessary for sprint but i am not sure, but it happens so fast that if you don't have it all set you won't get first batch of iPhones....
i am so not a nerd or perhaps in denial but i promise it is so fun to get in first batch and find your phone traveling on planes, trains + automobiles!

T-mobile.com is kind of slow sometimes. Best thing to do is just be awake at 12 PDT and put in the preorder as fast as possible.

Sorry if I'm not getting what you're trying to do.
I want to sign up with verizon edge as new customer for 5 lines but online allows only 1 line to be edge. The other 4 lines need to be purchased in store..
Is there a different way to do online for 5 line edge with iPhone 6/6+? TIA
