Exactly. That's what people are asking. "Can you order an UNSUBSIDIZED full priced Verizon iPhone from Apple's website?"

If the answer is no, then that is it. If there is some way that we are not aware of, that is what we want to know.

Yup. I am not in a contract with Verizon. I've been out of contract for over 3 years. I do not want a contract and do not want their $199 subsidized price. I just want to pay $649 and use it on Verizon.

So my only option is to go the Apple store? Is that consensus?

Little confused by what you meant, but I'll try to be more clear:

What I mentioned above, as long as you have an account with Verizon and are able to enter your credentials you can order an unsubsidized phone, as long as the line you order it on isn't eligible for an upgrade. If you don't have an account with Verizon, then no, you're not able to do so.

5.5" Silver 64gb Verizon

I pre-ordered my 4S from Verizon's website and it wasn't too bad so I'm going to pull up both sites and see whats faster.

If the line you're on is currently eligible for an upgrade, which if you have been out of contract for 3 years, probably is. You can either pre-order through Verizon online at full retail or go to the Apple Store.

You answered my question in the above post. Thanks!

EDIT: Which size, carriers AND plans are you guys going with?

Unlocked 64GB iPhone 6 for me
Carrier: Fido
$36
Unlimited Canada Wide Calling
Unlimited International Text/Video/Picture
2GB + $10/1GB overage.

Where did you find that Fido plan! That is amazing!

Ok, so Verizon's website will allow me to pay full retail and not use my upgrade. That helps a lot. I'd rather not have to go up to the Apple Store if I don't have to after work on the 19th.

I've heard that the address has to match the billing address of your carrier (AT&T, Verizon, etc.)

Can anyone actually confirm which one it is?

Apple only shipped to your carrier billing address during past preorders.

I'd also like to know if you can preorder and get in store pickup on the 19th (assuming your preorder is made early enough).

Ordering the plus 64gb. I love the silver back, reminiscent of the original iPhone. But I wish it didn't have a white front. Guess i'll go with the space grey.

Thanks.

So I have to try to order a subsidized phone first, and once Verizon rejects me, then they give me the option of buying the full priced phone? Is that correct?

iPhone 6, white, 16gb. I'm with AT&T and want to buy device only.

You were able to change the shipping address after the order was placed/ I had mine shipped to a different address on launch day, same with my friend.

5.5" 16gb with Att. Buying outright. No need for storage space for me

i have not read everything yet but why didn't they knock 16GB out and then just start with 32GB??

i think 5.5gb 16GB with ATT, buying outright as well

i will have iCloud + iTunes match so my space will be for any upgrades...

Thanks.

Well you don't have to try more than once. When you checkout with an iPhone, Apple's system will prompt you to enter your Verizon credentials. It will see if the line you entered is eligible for an upgrade, if you are you pay the subsidized price, if you aren't you pay the full price.

Can I use a Apple Gift Card to pre order my iPhone in order to avoid what happened to me last time fraud protection from my cc backordered my order to the back of the line

yes you can but i always go with amex, if there is ever a problem they have your back and will help sort it out!!

I'll be ordering the 5.5" iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray with AT&T. I need to go by AT&T tomorrow and pay off my Note 3 NEXT installment plan so I can free up the upgrade. It will be getting sent off to Gazelle right after. I have to do it that way or else I have to wait and pray that the stores have what I want to be able to trade in the Note 3 for the iPhone.
