Sliced bread? Really... you save a second or so over entering the pass code, that ultimately is it.. THE GAME HAS NOT CHANGED!!!
And it's a second or so to slice a piece of bread or to open a car door or start a car with a key, and yet it's still noticeable and meaningful progress.

It would be absolutely fabulous if Apple would spreading themselves so darn thin and obsessing about iDevice grammar and such. When iOS and OS upgrades were 18 - 24 months part, very few problems. It all just worked.

Yes, the 6s has a smaller battery thanks to Apple's Slim Tims obsession. Yes, that's annoying as hell but low power mode gives me an extra day of usage so at least there is that.

However, I still feel obligated to stick to Apple because there's nowhere else to turn

I enjoyed reading your post, but this particular sentence annoyed me a little. Of course there is somewhere else to turn.

I've been an Android user for several years but, unlike you, I consider the whole market when I buy a phone. To the point that I bought a 6S before xmas (as it turns out, I didn't like it and went back to Android, but at least I tried).

If you're not happy with iPhone, don't just keep buying them, give something else a try. You have a certain period with any phone to try with the option of returning it for a full refund - just give it a try.

But iPhone's sales hasn't declined, 0.4% increase is still increase.

How have you come to this 0.4% increase conclusion?

As far as I read it, this quarter compared to last quarter, sales dropped by 10,000,000 units.
