Same amount of ram as the pros that cost 2 grands . Apple are real cheap ****s . Especially since calling up the AI takes 3gb and kicks programs in the background .

They really should have put 12gb in the 16 pros . If they did I would have bought it . But a device that's already limited by its ram at launch, and that will get even more limited... eh

Face ID is nowhere close to as convenient as Touch ID.

I've been living with it for a while on my primary phone now, and it's so nice when I use my secondary phone that still has a home button.

Face ID really is an inferior technology. And there's no excuse for the stupid notch.

It’s interesting to hear other people’s perspectives but the market does not agree with you.

I would much prefer Face ID than Touch ID on my Mac, too.

This is basically a new version of the iPhone XR. They shouldn't call it the SE.
This is what the SE has always been. A lower cost phone using older case design and fewer cameras but with current processor. Sometime the older donor phone was small like the first and second gen SE. or big case with small screen like the 3rd gen. It looks like the case and screen will be aligned in this 4th gen.

Apple accounts for the blind with Face ID. Your iPhone guides you in setting it up, and there's a setting to not require looking directly at the phone to unlock it if you're using VoiceOver, which would be useful for someone who has prosthetic eyes. I have the require attention setting enabled though, been using it for years.

No thanks, I adore the size, Touch ID, and notchless screen. I'll be keeping this 3rd-gen SE for a while longer. Maybe I'll upgrade when the iPhone 20 comes out and I stop yelling at clouds.
Yep mine is perfect. LOVE Touch ID, hate having to put my face in front of my Ipad to unlock it. Love the size and being able to reach all of the screen with my thumb. Why can't they just give us a small option at the very least????

Yes, of course it is just an opinion (I also greatly prefer Touch ID over Face ID), but I have to call you on the “market”.

There was never a touch id and face id iPhone from the same generation. If you wanted a newer phone, you HAD to get face id. That’s not really the market deciding that face id is better. That’s apple deciding that face id is better.

Expecting a price of $449 or $499. Should be a good iPhone. Think it will have only two or three colour choices. Not expecting to see dynamic island on the SE.

There's no reason for Apple to not use 120hz screen other than pure greed. My eyes can see the stuttering now when scrolling a 60hz screen. Nowadays, even cheap midrange Androids have nice quality screens with 120hz.

Not really low cost, but i suppose for Apple it is. so not having a iphone myself, i presume, touch ID is like a fingerprint sensor, so no fingerprint sensor at all? Not sure if I like that idea, face Id may be okay, but not when it is cold and your face is covered up. So three reasons to stay away from Iphone, no fingerprint sensor, cost and IOS, well for me anyway.
I will stick to my cheap sub £200 Android phone
