I don't really understand what is so hard about reading on a 4" screen, the text size are adjustable in iBooks or there is a reader mode in safari...
What's funny is text is displayed at the same size. You just see more of it at a time on a 4.7" iPhone.

I agree with you. apple is ripping it's customers off with iphone SE.
Hard to read E-books on a 4"inch screen. Hard to play games, hard to type a message. Hard to do video editing.

Only apple and phone case manufacturer will benefit from this. Not you.
If you like to give your hard earned money give it to the poor people and poor country.
Rich people getting more rich.
and poor people getting more poor.

Benefits of a powerful CPU is for video editing and playing games. For 4inch screen it's very hard to do this. So what's the benefit of a powerful CPU if you can't use it properly.?

What a crock of bull****.

Hard to type messages? Really? And if you really want to do real video editing...I'd want a much larger screen than on any iPhone, anyway.

And all that talk about rich getting richer, giving money to the poor, etc is not central to this discussion in any way. Can you get any more clichéd?...

Wow...don't know how my eyes would handle that on reading webpages.
The same as the 6S and 6SPlus; the text size is the same, you just fit less on the smaller screened devices.

People really consider a 0.7" bigger screen as a phablet? Man Steve Jobs made u believe everything he said. Have u actually ever compared the 6s to se or 5?
Yep, my now sold 6S was huge in comparison to my SE. So much happier with the SE.

That is true.

I was thinking about pages like gsmarena.com where you kinda have to view in landscape mode if there is no mobile view, and such.

3.5 screen : phone (as defined by Steeve)
4. Screen : Big phone
4.5 up to 6 : phablets
7 up to 9 : mini tablets
10. Screen : tablet
11 up to 12 : big tablets

iPhone should make 4 different iPhones for 4 different people, baby hand, girly hand, man hand, giant hand
4 inch as a Super Mini
4.5 inch as mini
5 inch as a phone
5.5 inch as a phablet

And Windows phone rather than iOS, if you're happy with that.

Yeah. Windows Phone will always have a place in my heart, to be honest. One of my top 5 smartphones was a Windows Phone. I don't like it enough to switch to it, but that's for other reasons. There is very little wrong with the OS itself, at least not when I used it. Apps maybe, but the OS was solid.

you guys are all nuts. its 2016. A iPhone without haptic feedback, 3d touch, barometer and 5+mp FFC mind as well be a paper weight. These are all huge linchpins, especially the barometer and haptic feedback w/ 3D Touch.

That's why the price is so low. My 16 GB iPhone 5s was $649. This phone is $399 for 16 GB and still has way better specs than the 5s. And since I don't have any of those features now, I won't miss any of them.

90% of the 6S for a $250 discount? If you can't see the value, you're nuts.

Do you know how much it costs apple for parts? Peanuts. Its less than 190$ for all the parts total.

What does the cost of parts for Apple have anything with do this?

I have the 6s...and I don't use 3dt, barometer, or the FFC as I do all FaceTime on my ipad2.

Had the SE been released last Oct, I very well might bought that instead. (I was holding out until Apple made a 2gb RAM phone.)

What is hard to understand about some people getting a SE over the more expensive models?
