My shipping info hasn't changed since last night, however my iPad Pro info finally showed up and is in fact ahead of my SE info even though I ordered it a day late. I have a feeling I may get both deliveries at the same time.

This means the percentage of packages you scan yield you better things, like prizes or raises. It is very very difficult to scan every single package that comes through the belt. We have thousands of packages every night and sometimes missing up to twenty (for each person on a belt, sometimes up to 10 people) isn't uncommon. Just because you don't have an update at any point of the delivery doesn't mean you aren't progressing. Just be patient.
 
Was able to locate my package through myups choice. I able to put a hold on the package to pick up at my local Hub first thing in the morning on 3/31. I do this with all my iPhones every year.

I also found my shipment on my UPS app even though the Apple tracking says it's still preparing for shipment. There's a UPS store a few blocks from me. I wonder if it would be delivered there first thing in the AM as well if I changed the pick up to that location. I've never done that before.

Scheduled for the 3/31 arrival date and it's been in Harrisburg, PA since the 28th per UPS tracking.

mine says preparing ship, cant get any results search reference on ups or fedex yet, for 3/31 delivery, ordered few minutes into pre-order, i worry they may have it late sense all the mail i ever get goes to phoenix like 200mi away to be moved the next morning my town and delivered day after, such slow process

Just keep in mind that if you request a hold to a ups store it takes longer. Needs to be the main ups hub in your town.

I figured as much. That place is way too far and out of the way. I can wait for our UPS guy - he usually comes around 6:30p.

Yeah . Just wait , I would risk it and end up waiting longer. Just be patient. This week has been long for me already lol

Just got a text off dpd saying it will be delivered tomorrow, checked the website and it showed a little more information, I'm in manchester
 
not sure if this has been mentioned, but doesn't apple usually charge you when it ships? I received my shipping notification, but my card is still not charged and the Auth. hold fell off.

If I got to apple.com I see this under track shipment:

Status Shipment Picked Up March 29, 2016
Shipment Issue - please contact Apple March 29, 2016


looks like there was a problem, and then it still shipped but I was never charged.
 
Yes, you should have been changed. You might want to check with your card issuer to see if they see a charge that has not yet posted to your account. It also would not hurt to check with Apple.

I mean I won't complain if they forgot to charge me. It was an amex using apple pay. I usually immediately get the notification. The tracking shows delivery tomorrow.
 
It's typically billed as an "Upgrade Fee" not activation fee. Also, if you say the right things to the right folks, you can get it waived reimbursed. I am.

For me they waived half the fee, which they did call an "activation fee," not an "upgrade fee," and they waived half the monthly increase. My plan allowances are exactly the same, but they were going to increase my monthly fee by $20 for exactly the same allowances. They agreed to increase the fee by "only" $10 a month. Verizon is still, in my opinion, the best carrier out there, so it wouldn't do any good to dump them for all this price dishonesty, but it sure rubs the wrong way.

To re-cap: They had told me previously that I could keep my exact same plan, and that the phone would cost $50. But when I decided I wanted the phone, they jacked up the price by $40 with the "activation fee," even though there's nothing to activate, and said my plan would go up by $20 per month. When I complained, very politely, they cut the fee in half, and they cut the monthly increase in half. Look, I get it that they need to make money. Just be honest about it up front instead of publishing false prices and promising a plan rate they had no intention of honoring!

Regarding delivery, my iPhone SE is still in Memphis, and delivery has changed from tomorrow "by 3:00 pm" to tomorrow "by 8:00 pm." It shows that they received shipping information at 3:42 am this morning. So by not giving FedEx the shipping address until an hour ago, they assured that instead of getting onto a morning delivery truck and arriving here at noon, it will get onto an afternoon truck and get here after my normal bed time. Yes, I go to bed very early and wake up very early. That's just how my decrepit old body works.

Finally got my shipping notice even though I knew the tracking number the day before. Thursday delivery for me.

I also used Amex with Apple Pay and the charge fell off as well a few days ago. It still shipped and will be hear tomorrow. Not complaining :)

and you also did not get charged when it shipped? Can you check apple.com----track shipment, and see what it says? It looks like there was an error and then it still shipped. They may charge me later, but I definitely will not bring it up.

Interesting. Great explanation. May I ask what plan you're continuing to get charged an activation fee?

Nevermind, I found it.

If someone is signing up for a subsidized phone price, there is an "Upgrade Fee" of $40, but if someone is signing up for a monthly installment plan or purchasing outright, there is an "Activation Fee" of $20.

I also used Amex and I saw the initial charges on Sunday for both of my iPhone SEs and Apple Care. I have a notification set to notify me via SMS any time there is a charge when my card is not present. I currently don't see any charges to my account when checking via the web.

I see both iPhones on my support profile, I have received the AppleCare emails, and I have received the shipping notifications overnight. When I check Apple.com for my orders, I don't see any errors when I check the Order Details link for each phone. It correctly shows my Bill to information and indicates that I used Amex and the last four digits of my card number.

What do you see on Apple.com when you click on the Order Details link?

Update: I found my charges on Amex. My billing cycle ended yesterday ( March 29 ), show the current charges don't show as current but are listed on the "Current Statement". :eek::eek::eek:
