Ouch. Dont give up yet. CPW is also saying next week.Ordered SG 64GB on 5th April. Just been told by EE that it will be at least another week. Tempted to give up.
This will be my first ever iPhone. After years of owning large Android phones, I decided to move to a smaller phone. This is the deity's way of telling me to get an HTC 10.Ouch. Dont give up yet. CPW is also saying next week.

It appears to be a lottery. Which, given your name, is quite apt.
Just check in the morning via the website is my best advice. i.e Put the phone you want in your basket on the Apple website, take it to checkout then check stock in your nearest stores.
Yes, if you need to return your iPhone you can take it to any Apple Store or Pickup Point and you will get refunded immediately, but it needs to be within 14 days of you receiving it.Ok thanks.
What I like about in store purchase is the ability to get refunded directly in store (in case you lose at lottery)
Is it the same policy when you buy online and pickup in store?
No problem with the Gold 64gb I collected Sunday. Tried o2, EE, and Voda. All good.Any more people got an SE from John Lewis that they have confirmed is truly unlocked?
When I asked a staff member recently they were fairly sure they lock to the first network used, even when I pressed them on the point saying people online had said different... Not that they had any stock anyway.
What about Midlands? There might be some SG64 stock popping up in some Apple stores this morning..
EDIT - already showing some in Covent Garden.

[doublepost=1461143376][/doublepost]Wow
how did you know that?
Even though Im not far from the london stores Im waiting for the nearest to come in stock and it hasn't![]()
So why not order it online for pickup later on when you can get there?!
It's like reserving it, but you pay for it online.
[doublepost=1461144540][/doublepost]Now also in stock Edinburgh, Manchester Arndale, Cardiff, Kingston, Brighton.

Regent St has SG64s in stock...
Well EE are covering themselves in glory. On 5th April, "Oh sorry it's showing as a 14 day delivery time but more often than not it's a lot quicker than that" to 19th April "it's now 21 days from order date" to today "It's around 4 weeks"
Useless.
Although I know that a "free" phone has a cost to it, this one meant no changes to my existing contract etc. I'm really tempted to just cancel it and forget about the phone. If you have the cash to buy upfront, then you could cancel EE, buy from Apple, and take out a SIM-only contract with EE or whoever. It'll get you the phone sooner, and also save you money over the long term.
