iPhone Signatures

I personally like

'Sent from my mobile"

I think saying "Sent from my iPhone" sounds a little braggy and what not. Also because I send most of my emails from my iPhone.

I just use "Sent from my iPhone." I delete it when I dont really want the person to know im mobile, but sometimes its nice for people to know that I am out in my normal life, but I still took the time to read and respond to their email, even though im not being paid to do so.

I sent most emails from my phone for business, so I have

Name
Company
Phone
Email

whenever I do have to send a personal email, which is rare, I will either just leave in the sig because most people know what I do anyway, or I'll quickly delete it. Doesnt take long to backspace over the 4 lines.

or just select the signature and click delete - c/c/p

I'm gonna delete that sig also first thing when I get mine. Last month Wired had an article that was rules for the digital age. One of the rules was to delete the "sent from my iPhone" and "sent from my blackberry" signatures.

I guess the idea is to let the receiver know that it was sent from a mobile device, and to excuse things like punctuation, typos, all lower caps, etc. But it just sounds like bragging to me.

"I wish for a world of peace, harmony, and naked men."
Since it's my personal e-mail account, I can have an irreverent signature. :p

I always felt it sounded a bit braggy. So I just got rid of the "i" in iPhone, and now my signature identifies the message as coming from my "phone" not my "iPhone."

I use:
Sent from my portable communications device.

Geeky but not as boring as the basic sent from my phone message. I also don't like the default sent from my iPhone message but like to let the people I'm emailing know that I'm not in front of a computer.

The iPhone _is_ a computer, isn't it? :D

Almost nothing to do with iPhone, but I saw this thread and it reminded me of inappropriate signatures. I occasionally swap emails with someone who works at the University of Bangor; I'm not certain yet that we've exchanged more characters than the contents of the disclaimer that they use:

Just wish I could have a separate signature for each of the e-mail accounts that I use on the iPhone.

I have a personal account and a business account and would love to have different sigs for each.
