iPhone UK - Sitting at home waiting for delivery

Still ont arrived but Aerosmith Guitar Hero kept me occupied for 30 seconds.
I called DHL and they won't release the delivery persons details...boo.

not a happy bunny, I am SO impatient.

WOOO got that about 15:30...whats the chances of it coming 2morrow?
 
I just got a DHL shipment as well (8GB ordered on Monday). Fingers crossed for a Sat delivery as I'll be at home. Be working on Monday though which I suspect is more likely when it will arrive.
 
I know you want to play with the phone but activation is not happening at all...

No one can get it to work... I can't even connect to the server let alone start activation!

Somehow its activated itself but I think most people are geting no where!

I can't sync anything until its activated properly. Its only thanks to mobileme that I have any contacts on the phone!
 
5.12pm and still no delivery 🙁

I've normally found that DHL can't be arsed after about 4.30 and go back to the depot 🙁
 
What if you're not in?

I apologise for asking such a pedestrian and limited question... but I won't be in, I'm out of the country. (And I would have been one of those Battersea deliveries, by the way)

I know I'll get a card through the door, but my fear is that they will only hold the phone at Vauxhall for a limited time. Does anyone know? Does anyone have a number for the Vauxhall DHL depot? Can anyone help?

I can't stand thinking that there's an iPhone out there, somewhere, that's mine but is so lost and alone and might even think I don't care.

Same here.
I'm hoping it's with an independent Home Deliverer and that they are gonna come after 5:30 as they assume people are at work.
 
Finally got mine. Seems pretty good.😀😉😀
Has crashed once though! Also had a phone call while chatting on facebook app and now facebook app crashes every time it launches, but asides from that its very good. I like it.

Yeah, I just got a text as well saying it will be delivered before 12pm on Saturday which I wasn't expecting (didn't pay £10 extra).

Awesome news. Means I can sit round in my pants all morning rather than having to visit some depo.

Quality...again somehow my 08:10 order isn't in the second batch 😡 WTF

I'm assuming your order shows as complete on the tracking your order page?

Yeah it does. My tracking page only just started working though as it was coming up with a blank page before. Also they've added my new phone number and the tarrif details etc.
 
I just got off the phone to DHL for about the 8th time today
apparently, because I live in a residential area (go figure) my item has been passed on to an independent service, this can take anything up until 9pm to deliver.
I ask for some info on the service and a contact number and she said "we don't have their details"
I asked "You have no details for the people you just handed my parcel over to"
"ummm no"

Stupid woman.

So basically I have to wait another 3 and a half hours, and if it doesn't turn up...tuff luck as DHL will be closed by then. *sigh*
