Anything on T-Mobile this time? I thought there was an issue with iPhone 8 pre-order iPhone Upgrade Program orders. I set mine up to upgrade, but i'm willing to pay cash if the t-mobile upgrade is going to bump me into December for whatever reason...

Yes, it's only for people currently in the program. The approval takes a couple of seconds but you do have to fill out extra info like birthday, income, social. That's the few ticks head start that us currently on the Upgrade Program will have on the 27th.

I'm on TMobile and was able to get the preapproval.

My profiled birthdate was nothing close to my real birthdate so be sure to double check that if are having trouble. Not sure it will help in your case, but it caught me off guard
 
Had a few errors, disconnecting from wifi fixed it. Pre-pre ordered my tmobile/space grey/256 iPhone X and ready to go :D

The Apple IUP does not guarantee first choice for an iPhone. This process for existing members this year only stream lines the check out process....

Anyone else see this as you start the process?

"You can get preapproved for iPhone X until 4:00 pm MDT on 10.26"

...then in the email confirmation

"This preapproval will last for three days after pre-order begins."

This is why I have never joined. To go thru the approval process when ordering goes live will take waaaay toooo long. And, there is no way I'm going to wait in line at store. So, I'll just pay up front...like always. :rolleyes:

I Have my own update program. I pay full price NOW.....
 
Hurry and get pre-approved.... that way when you see Delivery on 3/1/2018.... you will still order because you had a hard pull on your credit.

just got pre-approved...hopefully this will make it really easy to just get the phone on launch...to answer some questions:

1. there was no pre approval process last year, it was a **cking disaster! I only got the phone at launch because I called Apple and complained, like so many did and they finally honored their upgrade program
2. you can only join the program when you are getting the phone, so if you didn’t sign up last year, you can’t now until you are processing the new phone...you will be able to pre approve next year
3. pre approval is for only those who are currently in the program
4. this will save a HUGE amount of time, I can just click on the phone and buy it, everything is done already

Every time I try to confirm my pin with Verizon, I receive an error about connecting to the server. Frustrating.

Is anyone else having an issue confirming their Verizon pin?
