What does The Woz think about the Pre?

"And it's official. This Palm conversation has lulled Woz to sleep. We kid you not."

:p

Verizon and ATT to get the Pre

The big news today is that Verizon said they'll be getting the Pre later this year.

(Along with the smaller Pre, Storm 2 with WiFi, Android handsets, and new Motorola phones.)

ATT has already said they want the Palm Pre lineup as well.

This bodes well for Pre applications.

Thats laughable, in order to defend apple, you are making up facts and statistics.

multi-tasking doesnt make sense on a mobile device? how exactly a people can do multiple things altogether and switch between them at will doesn't make sense?

hard to write apps? how exactly all other handset can do it? just apple can't? I guess all app developers for other mobile OSes are smarter than iPhone app developers?

You are just doing typical apple fanboy stuff. "anything apple can't do is useless". Thats just ridiculous logic.

BS, Pre has wi-fi, did you not read any spec about the pre?

PS, pre is coming to verizon and att on GSM, in 6-12 months.
I really don't feel like responding to this crap. I write software for a living but I'm not going to sit here are argue with a fanboy concerning software development. There is really no point in discussing such things with a layman.

I think it is laughable to compare javascript based web apps with applications written using a compiled language targeting a well defined API and application framework like Cocoa touch. If you are curious about this at all, I'd suggest signing up for a free account at http://developer.apple.com/ to download the SDK and browse the available documentation. The pre has yet to release a full-fledged API for third party apps.
