iPhone X looks to be a product for early adopters. Redesigned hardware, but not really anything special when it comes to features over the 8, or even the 7. And with hardware changes, we should not be surprised if issues arise as there were with earlier iPhones (plastic cracking, screens with different tint, antenna-gate, bend-gate etc). Next iPhone X will be the one to hold out for.

So underwhelming.

Good news is I get to keep my existing phone, no "upgrade" desire.

Yeah, let 'em get the kinks worked out--and get rid of the distracting top notch.

Hmm another $300 and doesn't ship until November 2.

So X has larger display, OLED, less bezel and Face ID. Whats the dimensions on the phone itself compared to the 8 and 8 plus?
