iPhone X Final Color Decision (Flip Flopping)

I have seen quite a few threads in the past few weeks about which color to choose and I have gone back and forth a few times. When the iPhone X was first announced, I was certain I would go with the Silver because it finally had a black screen bezel. The bright silver trim, the pearl white...it all just looked great.

However, as we come down the home stretch I am shifting back to Space Grey. I have an iPhone 8 in Space Grey (that will get handed down to my wife) and I really like the shade of the 2017 color. I also really like those stealthy "space black" bezels on the X.

So, for the final time before pre-order begins...what color are you guys planning to order?

For me, I am going with...SPACE GREY

I’ve been black/slate/space gray since the 3G.

But I fondly remember how cool I thought the first iPhone looked when I first saw it in person. The silver back that wrapped around the sides, the chrome trim around the display, the black face.

I’ve wanted a different color for a while now, but the white faces always killed the deal for me.

When I went to look at 8’s in person to decide on a color, I was immediately drawn to the Silver back. Beautiful. The X will look so OG with the polished stainless band and black face, haha!!

Silver all the way for me!!

looks like silver wont show finger prints on back as bad as space grey. May have to go silver this time.

100% right...I go caseless and the SG was, IMHO, a fingerprint magnet, picture your iPad screen off and you’ll get the idea. It was also REALLY reflective (like a mirror).

Exactly...I’ve been wanting another color for a while, but I couldn’t take the white face. I’m all in on Silver this year.

I’ve always gone black. This will be the first time I won’t. Silver seems like what they designed it for. Check this:

The Space Grey just doesn’t have the hot look that Matte/Jet Black and past Space Greys had imo. But that poll has my self confidence in my decision shook.

I agree. Its a much different looking silver from what we have seen before. But nonetheless, it looks more like an off white color.

i'm buying both and will be lucky enough to decide after ive seen them in person. Otherwise I don't think i would be able to come to a decision i would be 100% happy with. There's certain reasons i like the silver and certain reasons i like the space grey. Seeing it in person is going to be what makes my decision.
