iPhone X Leather Case arrived [Pics Inside]

Have you had an Apple leather case for prior models? If yes, can you tell if there's a quality difference between those & this one?
I've had three apple leather cases. Gave one to my dad when I gave him my old 6plus. Wore one completely out as well.
Mine definitely compare to those cases. No significant bumps or creases. I of course don't have a phone in them to test fitment. I am usually a perfectionist and am happy with them so far.
There are some very slight natural wrinkles in the hide that look beautiful actually and think will age amazingly.
Here is the best I could do to show them:
Animal hide has "wrinkles" but these ones are not obtrusive and look normal.

Those wrinkles are distinctive characteristics of leather - my LaZboy couch has them too, so no issue with them.
Interesting to see how well it holds up over time. Love these way it looks now so hopefully it can maintain its look for the most part. Being black it should?

It was hard for me too... I was pretty set on the black as I love a clean uniform look, but I went and put the charcoal on an SG iphone 8 and it looked good so I pulled the trigger and got the heck out of there before they changed their mind on selling them...

Should be shared now... The girl said the taupe and the saddle brown aged the best. (black and charcoal will barely change overtime. My old black one really didn't)

I have had apple's leather cases for many of my iPhones. I think there are variations between them all. I do love some of the other colours on this thread, particularly the saddle brown, so I may go and look at a few in person once my X arrives
I dont have a problem with wrinkles these cases are going to get beat tf up

Just ordered cosmos blue leather, pink fuchsia leatherand pink sand silicone. Hope it gets delivered Friday. I’m giving an iPhone X as a gift so just preparing a selection of some favorite colors and material. Already have the white silicone.
Just received the saddle brown natural leather and hate it. Feels plasticky. Faint leather smell. Buttons are same color as case.
Immediately ordered a case from Sena and will return the Apple one. Happy to post pix of want to see it.
Anyone know Apple's return policy? Can I put the X in it when it arrives Friday until I swap for Sena? I realize I have 14 days. Just not sure if allowed to use the case at all if plan to return it.

Yes you can use the case all you want for 14 days. Apple will take it back no problem.
Got my Saddle leather case today. Has several creases as well, but they'll look great with age. Here's some comparison photos with a well-patina'd iPhone 6S saddle leather case.

The bottom of front chrome and part of vibrate switch are visible and the ring around camera. But... no upcharge to go silver over space grey and to me it looks like the superior variant
I picked up a black leather case for my SG X this afternoon. I went to Best Buy and they had 3 of them, so I just opened the boxes and compared and got the one with the least creases/defects.
Like any natural leather product, they will rarely be perfect, and I agree that when they get more "character" it only enhances the look.
This is my first leather case for an iPhone and I'm really digging the quality and especially their use of aluminum buttons......should really help with responsiveness.

I like the silver buttons of the Sena case a lot. That one is on preorder
Apple.com said my saddle brown leather should be available for pickup today, but I haven't received an email to pick it up yet. While I was at the store though, I noticed that the brown tends to show by far the most scratches compared to other leathers.
