iPhone X Leather Case arrived [Pics Inside]

Ok just saw the sena cases for the first time. The one with the racing stripe has my attention. I think that looks really nice. It’s basically the same case that Apple sells. Cheaper though. Does sena have a reputation of having better leather than apple? The grain in the pictures look better.
 
I could possibly be in love.

I bought it!

It’s basically a copy of the apple leather. It beat out Apple’s leather case because of it’s design (love that red stripe) and the better leather quality (assumption based on marketing photos) and the cheaper price.

Awesome man - I'm really thinking of pulling the trigger as well. My car has red leather and black dash so it really does match somewhat... Plus I like the combination. Now I'm a UCF Knights fan haha, but I am moving to Savannah, GA next year...

Welcome to Georgia! Sounds like you might be a not so secret UGA fan already with that car...UCF and UGA aren’t rivals so you’re good.

I’m excited about the case. The only downside is that it’s a pre order and will ship “early November”. Whenever that is.

Thanks haha we'll see how it goes. I'll be in Savannah next year for the duration of 4 years minimum... I just pre-ordered the case actually. Keep in touch on shipment/arrival look forward to seeing what you think of it.

I’m more concerned with the bottom cut outs and how it will look with the polished silver vs the more dark grayish color of the bottom. I’m torn between taupe, black, or cosmos blue. I’ve had saddle brown for a while now.
 
Whoever kept preaching about cases getting in the way of the swipe gestures I️ think was right. If I️ had a case edge right there it would definitely get in the way.

Side note. This phone feels amazing to hold. Best iPhone yet from that perspective. The glass is so grippy and the stainless steel too.

But we won't know for sure until those with case lips play around with the X.

I’m going to go try some cases with lips tomorrow with my X. But just using the gestures I’m starting down below the edge of the phone and there’s no way a case would allow for that.

I’m going to pretend like I️ have a case over the bottom and see right now lol

Do you need to start from the extreme edge for the Home gesture though? Can you start from the Home Bar?

You can definitely start from the bar. No need to go all the way to the edge of the device. It’s just probably easier not to think about it and just go all the way to the edge. But going form the home bar works just fine.

I️ just want a case to use at the gym and when my toddler is terrorizing everything and when I’m out and about and feel the phone could be at risk. When I’m in safe zones I’ll use it caseless.

These leather cases were really amazing for the iphone 6 line, and then really went down the drains with this slick almost fake feeling to them for the 7/7plus line. I did notice some of the colors- think the electric blue or whatever it was called- was better than some of the originals for the 7 leather cases.

Also have a black & cosmos blue coming today- probably will just keep one- hopefully whichever feels softer/less slippery.

I’m returning mine for black silicone, as the leather was wayyy to slick.
 
Been testing out my taupe and charcoal leather cases. I was concerned about the taupe having some QC issues with the volume and mute switch, and the mute switch is quite off. I will be returning it.

Charcoal looks AWESOME with the SG iPhone. Both cases have some weird fitment/clicking/give as I hold the phone and squeeze or put pressure on the edges with one hand.

I’m not super stoked. I’ll keep trying to figure it out.

Thanks for the update. I’ve been very picky with apple leather cases in the past and have swapped out many from Apple and Best Buy as well. They seemed to be okay with it so I️ kept doing it until I️ found one that I️ liked. Any pictures of the charcoal with the X in it?
