iPhone X Leather Folio

No F’ing way. I don’t want a flap to open to check my phone. I can see 70 year old men with this case though.
Folio and wallet cases can be really nice, and can spare you the need of a display protector. I have a folio case for my Samsung S8’+ because it’s almost impossible to get a decent screen protector for that edge display. The one time I went back to using my regular case for it, I ended up with a scratch on my oleophobic coating.
Even with the IPhone X display being flat, people may want to use a folio and not a screen protector, because in my experience, both glass and film protectors especially can contribute to a slight grainy or sparkly effect on OLED.
My husband and I have at times been able to ditch the wallet with cases like this. An ID, one credit card and one folded up bill are usually all you can fit into them before they get really bulky or don’t close properly. Some cases barely accommodate one ID.
The flap can be a pain in the tail when you’re taking pictures.
My husband should be getting everything by the end of this week and I’ll try and let you all know how it works out.
Just received notice that my black folio has shipped. Still can’t determine when it will be delivered. I will post my thoughts when it arrives. I have had a lot of different folios over the years, like from Vaja, Nodus, Twelve South and others.

Just to let you all know, BestBuy has a buy 3 mobile products (cases, cords, battery packs, screen protectors, what have you) and you get 25% off each product. That takes the cost of this case down 25$ which is much more reasonable if you ask me. I have ordered the cosmo blue through them with this deal. (Got another apple cable and the saddle brown leather case as well.). Best Buy has this deal online all of the time and I have used it for multiple phones in the past as well as I usually buy way more than one case anyways, so it is well worth ordering through them.
It's arrived, photos to follow.
Nice quality, the bottom of the flap is magnetic, I suspect for the smart cover ability and hopefully to hold closed. Doesn't hold shut without the phone so will report if it does when I have the phone.
Flap doesn't hinder holding it when folded back, again I wonder if the magnetic flap sticks to rear with phone inside. Doesn't without.
Will still be applying a screen protector (in case grit gets between flap and screen) and have both glass and film on order incase the glass is too thick to close properly.
I like it but will decide whether I'm keeping when I've had some use of it.

Hey guys, just got my Apple Leather Folio delivered.
Coming from a 7 Plus, I must say this case looks tiny... Curious as to the phone now!
The leather on the front is extremely light and soft (it's cow skin).
Not sure the inner pockets are real leather?

Can the iPhone part of the case be separated from the leather enclosure? Also, does the card slots pull out? Thanks.

yes, its smaller than the +. Go and check out the specs on the X on the apple site. The cheap case i bough for the X looks like it would fit a 7. But if you look at your Plus and essentially just look at the display and ignore the top and bottom, that is what the phone will kinds be.
the card slot looks big. When you have a moment to slip a card in there, can you tell us how loose it is? Also will the other slot hold a dollar bill unfolded? TIA

A card fits in nice and snug, those stitches keep it in the middle.
Regarding the dollar bill, I'm in the UK so can't help you there. But I can fit the new £5 and £10 plastic notes in there.
An old £20 is too big obv.
Not too big at all. Can fit one card comfortably, three tops without being crammed.
