I used the app and got to a screen that says “we have an iPhone for you” and includes a reservation number. It says they’ll email me and I’ll have 24 hours to respond.

Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the new iPhone X through its online storefront and through the Apple Store app.

The iPhone X features the first major redesign Apple has introduced in years with a 5.8-inch OLED display that is nearly bezel-free with no Home button. It also introduces a TrueDepth camera that supports a new Face ID facial recognition system and it supports Qi wireless inductive charging.

Got my 256 space gray 2 mins after it went live. Smoothest one I've been through yet. The stock is holding up better than I expected. All are at 2-3 weeks 15 mins in.

Funny that there was a whole article about getting ready to buy it via the App and it was all a waste. In the UK the website came online first and the App is still down!

I don’t get it.
Apple store app said confirmed, within pick up date and everything.
Then I restarted the app and says there no appointment. If I click to upgrade it says “pending”.
Is it normal?
In a similar boat. I completed my order but under 'orders' it says 'no recent orders'.

UK now saying 13th-20th Delivery, but can pickup from Liverpool on 3rd Nov. So cant have been that constrained then!

GOT MINE!!! .......... HEEEELLL YA!!!!

Was on at 12:03 and done at 12:05

8 minutes the 256 were 2-3 weeks

10 minutes the 64 were 2-3 weeks

9:06 can't even load. store on the app. Now 9:14. Screw apple! My husband already got his. Won't show anyting on either of my ios devices. Grrr!

Already slipped to 2-3 weeks.

Canada here. Got in at about 3:04, order placed by 3:05.

Was using the app, but browser Favourites page loaded quicker, so bought it from browser.

May be one of the few times in my Apple career that I'll be getting something on launch day.

Good luck friends :)

Got mine no problem at about 3:04. I even went back in the app at 3:11 and still was delivering on 11/3. Started to skip around 3:13 to 2-3 weeks for some models. Tried to buy an unlocked Verizon (at full 1 time payment price) to resell and it wouldn’t let me. Had to verify carrier info.

I wish Apple would sell them without a carrier on launch day.

Thank you MacRumors for including the link in the article. That link is the only reason I scored a November 3rd release of the phone. The site is now selling for delivery 2-3 weeks after launch and it's 12:15am in SF. I owe the author one. THANKS!

Site down for 10 minutes. Finally got through. It wiped all my preapproved info. Finally ordered. Arrives Nov 24th. Way to totally suck Apple. What a cluster.
