this happened with my x but not when i first took it out of the box i had to give it to apple for a display issue and they replaced the screen and after that i started feeling the rough edges.....
ps i havent gotten any time since to visit the apple store for the same... also the back glass is not flush with the body i do feel a slight ridge and apple denied service for the same

Btw I just noticed that there is a spec of dust under the camera lens cover of my replaced iPhone. At the Apple Store, my main concern were smooth edges, so I didn’t pay attention to the camera then. I’ll exchange it again... One faulty phone... **** happens. Two in a row? Damn.

what has happened to apple i mean the only reason i love apple apart from ios is for the build quality and the anal attention to detail i mean i am a perfectionist and when im paying $1000 i want it to be perfect i recently got a replacement and it too has a gap i can easily fit in a piece of paper in one of those edges i cant bear this any more even a $500 oneplus has better build quality!!

Nothing mass-produced into the millions with a tech device like an iPhone will be ‘Perfect’. There will be phones that will have issues, it’s the nature of anything that has mass produced like an iPhone, iPad, etc. Apple makes a solid iPhone in the tech industry, but evening they are far from being perfect.

still samsung and oneplus phones are also being mass manufactured they dont have these issues as often though plus isnt apple supposed to be just a tad bit better than the ordinary (crap now i sound like an isheep)

I agree if we are paying $1000 it should be perfect but unfortunatly it isnt
