And android OS is the same old android OS, too… I used it 2 years ago tried one on for a couple weeks about a month ago same old same old. No changes in 2 years -- really.

I've never really understood what people mean by "more in an OS"… What more do you want? Be specific… Name 5 to 10 things that iOS could "revamp".

With iOS we talking way more than just two years of the same old row of icons, same restrictions, and etc.

Android had a huge mountain to climb when it came to reliability and performance. So the difference in the quality of Android vs previous years, has been very noticeable. And also the factor in that manufacturers themselves like Samsung have contributed to that with there UI overlays, to the point that it's even influenced Apple.

iOS started out as a polished reliable OS, while Android worked it's way to become one. But now that it's basically an even playing field, iOS needs to be revamped into something better while still maintaining it's core. Cause Android phones are outshining iOS when it comes to features, customization, compatibility, and etc. And that meant nothing back when the iPhone's reliability was on another level. But today is a new era. How long can Apple hold on to the same iOS? Just slapping on new addons to iOS isn't going to cut it any longer.

That's just my opinion, from someone that used iOS and Android since day one.

- run two apps on screen together
- be able to put app icons and widgets on the screen where you want
- improve notifications
- be able to run Waze on Carplay
- pen support
- better heterogeneous support beyond the walked garden

I didn't spend much time thinking about your question so these were just a few things that popped into my head. I was frankly bored with iOS. The last several releases Apple has spent so much energy on silly things that I could care less about. I don't see that changing with current leadership.

I don't think iOS or Android is either one better or worse. They are both very good and just different. Kind of like MacOS vs Windows.

Yeah.. bottom line.. a phone OS is a phone OS.. the things you listed are also gimmicky.. I can't seem to get complainers to explain this "whole new way a phone OS should be". There's just not a lot of innovating I see coming. You click on app icons.. swipe left and right for special windows.. what the hell more do we want - that's TRULY innovative at the OS level???

Reread my post once again. Try to take the context of it all as a whole, instead of nitpicking. If you still don't know what I mean, then we just disagree.
I read your post and you’re objectively wrong and just hating.
