those bezzels are huge and i dont understand why Apple didnt place the signal bars to the left "ear", i mean it'd be much nicer since there is already a curve going to the right and that signal bar would fit right in...

I have a question - is the wifi bar and time placed just a little lower than the bottom of the notch, or am i just being OCDish? :)

I thought the same thing. I just stared at it like "Something looks really off here". Then I read your comment and was like..."Ooh".

It’s just the lighting and wallpaper. The indicators are lined up right along the bottom of the notch.

The notch exists (in it's huge and ugly form) because Apple failed to incorporate Touch ID (it's first choice, by all accounts BEFORE they had to settle for Touch ID (at which point of COURSE they started to hype Face ID... what choice did they have? Admit failure?)).

No doom and gloom. Apple just tried and failed. It happens. Face ID is the consolation prize, but it'll be fine. I just wish it didn't necessitate a gaping notch.
It isn't a "myth". Apple scrambled for an alternative after failing to incorporate Touch ID. Face ID is our consolation prize.

Lol, so you think they were going to abandon the front camera?
[doublepost=1508758749][/doublepost]TouchID under the screen would have been an absolute nightmare and far far worse than FaceID.
