iPhone X iPhone x too small?

i got the 7 Plus cuz my commute is very long and i can use the time to watch my tv shows. i dont think it makes sense to „downgrade“in screen size if it was the main reason i chose the Plus in the first place

Personally I’m thrilled that Apple has chosen to use the smaller models platform to kick of its new design language :)

And yes I suspect it will feel small. So you can always wait for next years new Plus model.

However on a side note, if you use the new Note 8 it feels smaller and more compact then the Plus model which looks ancient in design next to the Note 8.

i wonder whether the bigger X will also feel bulkier next to the Note (9?)
i'll try to play around with a Note.. not that i will ever use Android.
tbh right now the X looks a bit thick because of it's design, or maybe it is a bit thick.

Not sure how "official" this representation is, but would be a game changer for me. I definitely enjoy the extra width of having an iPhone 6S+.

Apart from that, iPhone X is a brand new technology. Apple always makes 2nd gen technologies much better than first gen.

Its the most official you can get as its direct from Apple :). I simulated it from Apple's XCode software. You can also download it and check it out. You can visit any website you want and open any of the stock apps.

No it's wider. Both in terms on physical size and pixels.

Apple isn't going to make it wider or add / remove pixels. It would be too hard on the developers. they may introduce a new (larger) model. But that isn't likely to happen next year. Maybe the year following however.

They only have to make it taller like the Note 8

I doubt Apple will even be able get the screens necessary to make that happen next year. not to mention all the other rumors that apple is having trouble producing this years model. VERY unlikely.

It’s why they are working with LG and Samsung to get the amount of OLED screens

Thats why they have the 6 inch LCD model for backup. The X supply will likely stablise next year while the X Plus will be in the same predicament of this year's X next year.

The X isnt bezel less so...

Plus it has thick side bezels compared to its "bezel less" competitors such as the S8.
