The 256gb version with AC+ will cost me over 2000 CAD, i'll settle for the 64gb with AC+, it's 1800 CAD, but it's at least $200 cheaper

64 and 128...lol... i tried to search for some. So on that one the SG and Silver 256 seem to be liked the same...Only reason i have got silver before is everybody always wants the SG one. I only go to which one is less to be liked so i have more of a chance to get it on launch...lol

You can just get a good case and put a tempered glass protector on the front, and save the $200 or put it towards the 256GB iPhone X. Also, you can look into getting third party insurance, which can be cheaper or offer protection against loss/theft along with accidental damage.

That's what i switched to, my mobile carrier insurance. $9 a month, and yes you get 2 per year even if stolen. They said they are not raising the price even with the X. but i doubt that!

I'm currently using 168GB of my 256GB 7 Plus, and 60fps 4K is only going to make that worse, haha. Definitely, definitely, need the 256GB.

What’s the point of keeping all those photos and videos worth 80GBs stored locally? It’s not like you’re accessing/viewing all those photos and videos regularly. You can keep it on iCloud and let iOS cache frequently accessed photos and videos.
If I'm not mistaken wouldn't he have to pay for icloud because that is way over 5gb, who wants to pay more per month.
Any good pictures of the SG X? I like that the sides are like the black stainless. Black definitely shows more finger prints though - noticed as I went looking at the iPhone 8
