Cheapest one in stock for me. Black front on all phones means I honestly don’t care about the rest. 64 gb is plenty.

if you don't care about the black or white one, get the white one..
it's the default (i think)..
it's the one j.Ive will carry (i imagine)
it's the one the phone was designed as (i'm guessing)
:)

because android is terrible.
simple as that.
To each their own but when I get 10 Gbps tops on my iPhone 7 Plus then get 60+ on my V30, it's obvious that operating system aside... Which would you choose here?

If one has bad call quality, slow data, how much can you really enjoy the device no matter what OS is running on it?

White rear just looks cleaner in most lighting. I had the white iPod video and very silver Pixel before. Rarely did I have to wipe down the front iPod or back rear of the Pixel. The matte metal of the Pixel showed more dirt than the upper white glass back.

I personally don't care about the band around it if it nicks or scratches easily. I never really cared when I had the first iPhone or HTC One M7. I'm more OCD with fingerprints for some reason even though you can't remove scratches as easily as smudges .

The Pixel had a band around it and I never looked for scratches on it. Looked flawless when I sold it. It's the 64gb / silver X, no hesitation. Never need anything higher than 32gb storage again thanks to Google Photos.

My music collection will never double in size. Just stream music or watch the music video on YouTube. In the future, gaming will be streaming only since everyone will always be connected online by the next decade. Large physical storage will go away like physical media.

Yeah, only $150 more to buy 4x more physical storage. But Google Photos is UNLIMITED for high quality and FREE. 64gb is at least 4x higher than the pathetic 16gb they most recently kept for the 6s and last year's SE. I have 2TB of videos and I have no time to hoard every single one of them on any of my phones.

The looks slick with the polished sides.

REALLY REALLY nice imo

The vertical camera is uglier tho and bigger power button couldn't care less about one way or another but

silver 100% especially with black front woo

If it came in only 32GB and be $100 cheaper, I would get that one.

Unlimited cloud storage
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-photos/id962194608?mt=8

High quality:

  • Unlimited free storage
  • Photos are compressed to save space. If a photo is larger than 16 MP, it will be resized to 16 MP.
  • Videos higher than 1080p will be resized to high-definition 1080p. A video with 1080p or less will look close to the original.

Original quality:

  • Limited free storage (15GB)
  • All photos and videos are stored in the same resolution that you took them.
  • Recommended for photos that have more than 16MP and videos with more than 1080p.

https://www.phonearena.com/news/Goo...ts-the-difference-and-should-you-care_id93938

"As you can see, the photo itself has not been reduced in size, but the file size has been crunched down from over 16 MB, all the way down to almost a megabyte! And seemingly at no cost at all! It's almost like magic, but it just comes down to Google's clever image compression algorithms."

"Bottom line is, if you're short on space and are mainly storing photos that you took with your phone, you are mostly A-OK to use the “High quality” setting. You will never, ever, examine any of your photos so up close as to tell the difference between the original and compressed versions."

Rollin' in my 6-4..

Classic white like the old school iMacs and iPods.

I sold it to a friend for $550. Luckily best buy paid 200 down when I bought it so I only owed like 580 on my Next plan when I sold it.
The Stupid thing just sold for $499 finally after forever of trying to sell it. There were so many trolls (15 at least) who would text me and email me and never came (so dumb). I believe that it is other sellers (trying to sell the S8 Plus too) messing with me. WOOT WOOT, now I have one more reason to buy the 256gb Silver iPhone X yessss! I literally had the worst luck trying to sell it until it finally sold. I bought it back on June 7, 2017 used and for $600 so I only lost $101 technically I had it for 138 days so it cost roughly $0.72 a day to have. I wish I could rent out an iPhone X for $0.72 a day.

Is there any idea whether the silver or space gray stainless steel rim will hide fingerprints and smudges better?

I think I'm going to just go for the 64gb, the phone is already so expensive and my current 7+ is 128gb and I just checked and I am only using 81.2gb. I am sure I could easily delete 20gb of music or apps or photos or whatever. Also based on this poll the 256gb phones will go quicker and I definitely want to try to get one day 1.

The iPhone X space gray is different than the iPhone 8 space gray, right? Are there any side by side shots available? I really didn't like the color on the 8 in the store.

I think I can still manage with 64GB, but I did just finally get around to putting all my photos on iCloud and that’s about 4,000 photos and 9GB. No idea how much they’ll shrink when 'optimised' though.

If I have the option, sure. If, for whatever reason, the white one takes longer to get to me, I’ll take whatever is faster. I always use a case that holds a credit card, my aid, and a debit card, so I’ll never see the back. Ever.

I originally though Space Grey for sure, but that silver edge is beautiful. Can’t miss out on that me thinks, so now I’m leading towards Silver for sure!:)

Is the back actually WHITE or is it SILVER?

I like its uniformity but space gray X just doesn't do it for me. If Michael Fisher thought the white/silver HTC One M7 looked better than the black, I believe him. And that was matte black still attracting oils and smudges. Not glass which will show more. Too jet black 7 or space gray 8 which gets dirtier faster.

The silver band around looks good with black like the iPhones from 2007-2009 and white as seen with the silver iPhone series or silver Pixels. Silver can match either color. The darker metal band just looks dull and boring. No shine like the late-00's iPhones had under certain indoor lighting.

My first car was a black 1999 Honda Civic. I used to love getting a cash wash for it. Look sleek and shiny. After a week, it looked super dirty again. During summers since the upholstery was dark, it would feel like hell touching the steering wheel. It's going to be 104 degrees here in OC, and I'm no idiot to wear a black t-shirt.

I have owned many phones in multiple colors like navy blue to red. The best color to show less smudges is white, silver, or gray. My current car is silver and doesn't feel like the steering wheel is an oven during a hot day. I personally don't care if space gray wins in any poll like on Reddit. More silver for us!

iPhone X 256GB Silver. Hope I made the right choice, I’m very very OCD about my phones. Of course I use a case but sometimes i like using my phone without a case. The silver in my opinion would show less scratches and fingerprints, and with the stainless steel Apple watches, you can just buff out the scratches with a polish or special cloth. The “Space Grey” is very nice don’t get me wrong, but I hate fingerprints and I would be cleaning the phone so much I may scratch it myself. The coating around the stainless steel band would come off if you try to polish it (that’s what I think).

It's just you.

They should! Thanks Obama!

lol. my bad. I wasn't paying attention.
[doublepost=1505330494][/doublepost]
I think it's an easier sell as Space Gray than a Black seeing how dark the iPhone 7 black and jet black are.
[doublepost=1505331124][/doublepost]
If they're using the same Stainless Steel as the SS Apple Watch, there will be a ton of scratches on the bezels. I know the Silver will be less of a fingerprint magnet, but not sure which SS bezel will show fewer scratches...
Put a case on it and solve your scratch and scuff problems
Both colors show scratches

But on the other hand - use 100 dollars, and get 4 times as much memory - and if you decide to keep it for some time, you'll have enough memory for the years to come..

And better resale also especially if Apple continues removing that option when the next generation is released like the IPhone 7+ 256GB was DKd after the announcement. I was able to sell my mint condition 7+ 256gb for 700 recently that’s the best I’ve done on reselling my IPhones each year to poach a new one!

this poll is terrible and should be redone

not everyone that votes in here is aware its either 64 or 256.

there is no 128gb option and I dont think you can assume all that voted that were 100% intending that to mean 256

Shh it will help folks like me on preorders when people get confused looking for a 128gb model lol
