A lot cheaper doesn't mean that it's cheap. If you compare with others like Motorola, etc, you'll see that the price could be lower. It's fine Apple targeting a 5% on Brazil (literally, apple sales for years it's been 6% here), the problem lies on Cook saying that iPhone is accessible everywhere, for everyone, which is not true.Sounds like $620 USD is a lot cheaper than $2100 USD.
And that’s fine that it’s made (cough, assembled) in Brazil. Why would a profit driven company that pleases their shareholders (ahem... wink-wink) take that hit? Apple clearly makes more money off of the rich minority than the millions of lesser-income individuals.
