This is frustrating. If Apple is willing to make the iPhone a bit thicker (most likely to accommodate a larger battery, which is great), they should also be willing to make Macbooks a bit thicker to accommodate a non-garbage keyboard.

Come on, Apple. You can do it. Make EVERYTHING thicker, not just iPhones!!

I reaaaally hope these leaks are fake. Although I can't help but worry they're not sometimes.. we're kind of nearing the release date at this point. And the mute switch.. really? Vertical rather than horizontal. That's probably the most pointless update I've heard of.

It’s got to a point where the only thing Apple are redesigning is the mute switch

2018 was an S year for the 5.8” model; XS was an internal upgrade—better than the X in almost every way. XS Max was new, and the XR was a new design.

That said, I don’t think we’ll see many obvious differences in the design of the 2019 models, besides the back. iPhone has been a mature product for years, and designs are going to be mostly iterative for years at a time. Apple’s never really been one for “change for the sake of change”.
