Upgraded from X to Max. Been loving my Max. This isn’t my phone. It’s for my girl. Got a day before release. Overall good LCD display. Probably best LCD display on an iPhone. The Max a little bit taller. Width is about the same. Weight is good on this XR too. Now the bezels...I don’t like them but it’s ok. Prefer the smaller thinner bezels of the OLED displays. She’s happy and content. The size is good for a 6.1” display. I love my Max. But I believe XR will do just fine. Enjoy your XR’s people.

What store would have that decor and a half burnt candle on the table? Or are you trying to say that isn't even the poster's hand? Why would anyone make a fake post about this? Are people usually that crazy here?

Thank you. Anyways I have a good feeling many of you will enjoy the XR.

Can you post picture next to your Max?

I am considering going to Xr as the screen on the Max May be giving me headaches/nausea...

Ummmm nice try what. Why don’t you go look at my post history. Got X 1 day early. XS Max day early. Today XR. Nothing to show off. Just letting y’all know my thoughts about the device.

So you either work for Apple or a third party retailer. I never doubted that the picture was yours, nor that you have the device in hand, but the Face ID app is only included on demo models and cannot be installed on the retail version of the device. So congrats for getting to play with the device a day early, but you didn’t receive a “purchased retail” device a day early.

One is demo other is my girls. Yes I have a friend who works for a store. Brought both demo and my girls. Don’t really understand your agenda. I’m not lying. I mean I just posted both devices. You need to relax. It’s a just phone. I’ve even stated on my XS Max post which I received a day early that yes was from same friend who works for store. What u gonna do call the police on me? Relax dude.

And you posted a picture of a demo phone claiming it to be one you purchased, and conveniently the second phone is not on the first page of apps (not that it matters now since you’ll just move the app off of the first page). My agenda...calling your bluff, nothing more.

While it’s possible, I’m going to go out on a limb and say any friend that works for Apple wouldn’t allow someone to take demo phones home and use them when they aren’t to be powered on until release day, and they definitely wouldn’t do it more than once since they would likely lose their job after the first time.

Either way, congrats on being the first to have one in hand in the US. It is just a phone after all, and people will claim anything to get their 5 minutes of internet fame.

On these photos it looks like the same width but the XR should be 1,7 mm smaller....

No no no I’m not after internet. You’re completely wrong. Anyways who cares what you think. There’s always 1 in the bunch.

Jesus, this guy is only trying to show you pictures. You don’t have to hurl rocks at him.

@OP the white looks goood!

I promise Apple cares when display models are floating around in the public hands before release. Many have been terminated for a lot less...

So one demo and one not, indicating you have a very good and LUCKY friend. I probably wouldn’t post online about this and risk their job, but just me.

Carry on, phone does look nice but definitely a step back from the Xs/Max appearance wise.

Nah he good. No worries. Posted 1 day early 2017 for X. I say early last month for XS Max. Now today for XR. He’s aware. It’s good to have good contacts. His job is safe. But thanx for worrying.

Back to the topic. The XR feels good in hand. I’ve never been a big iPhone guy. Skipped all Plus size iPhones. Hated the big bezels. Going from X to Max I was only worried about size but I adapted and love it. The XR is a great size. If the Max was a 6.1 in XR size that would be a big hit. I know many people can’t do the Max size but overall both XR and Max feel the same in hand. Of course I prefer OLED display over LCD display.

What's up with the angles at which you're taking those pictures? The pictures 1,3,5 make the Xr look (rightfully) narrower than the XsMax, but pictures 2,4,6 make it look wider. Not a criticism of your picture taking skills, just curious how the Xr size can look so different right next to the same XsMax.
