Walked into my local AT&T store at 8am on launch day ordered a Gold I phone XS Max 512 got my notice from Fed X at 6am CST this morning to expect delivery tomorrow SWEET.

Tracking it no problem to nearby city, scheduled for delivery on 21st and not sooner per shipper instructions. Looks all good.

I had my Black Xs 256GB originally say it would arrive between the 28th and Oct 5th, but just got notification it will arrive on the 25th. This isn’t surprising, in my experience. A Gold one, same specs, ordered earlier in the morning will arrive tomorrow as expected.

Apple Management team just contacted me and said the watch won’t be here until Monday because of an ‘unexpected delay’

Annoyingly, in the U.K. I preordered at 8:10, for the iPhone upgrade program (already a member) and I got a note to select w time on 21st... then I get a confirmation ‘your iPhone will arrive in store by 29th’. So I’m not really sure whether it will come on the 29th or if it will suddenly appear tomorrow based on stock levels in store. Surely if there is stock in store then it should be reserved for people who have placed an order on the program? :(

Might wander down to my usual electronics store in an hour to see if they have to new stock out. If it's the same as last year, there'll be no queues, no other people milling about. No one really cares here.

Probably the reason we don't have Apple stores here.

Mine is in Anchorage, AK at this moment from Incheon, KR. Its on US soil and enroute. I was in such a rush when I placed my order last week that I forgot to have it delivered to my local Apple store for pick up. So now I have to work from home and wait patiently for my delivery. Fingers crossed.

XS Max, right?

Where was it's last location? Mine left Louisville a couple of hours ago. Screen Shot 2018-09-20 at 13.30.50.png

According to the site Anchorage, according to UPS customer service, Kentucky.

“The tracking information on UPS.com is the most accurate information we have currently.”

LIES.
[doublepost=1537479057][/doublepost]So the Apple manager explained that the UPS system is suffering from some issues. The amount of orders in Canada for the Watch specifically is causing a delay.

UPS explained that it is a customs release issue for a some very large containers.

The Apple manager said there’s a chance I can receive the watch tomorrow, but if not, it’s guaranteed for Monday. He then gave me his extension, told me to contact him directly to track and explained that the UPS site for my tracking number is not accurate as it still lists my watch as leaving Anchorage on Tuesday when it’s actually in Kentucky. UPS echoed this statement earlier when I phoned them. Also, my phone and watch are tracking an hour apart.

Here’s to hoping ...

This is because once they are in Louisville UPS knows they can get it to you on time. That is their main hub and they have flights all over the country from there nightly so it can sit there until tonight and still make it to you tomorrow.
Read my post above, not true at all.

Anyone getting a message from UPS that the package is stuck in China for customs? I called UPS and they said it was stuck and the date that I will receive the watch will be on the 24th, despite what the online update says!!

I can't be the only one with this?

iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 orders are now shipping to customers around the world, with the first deliveries set to arrive at doorsteps tomorrow, Friday, September 21.

There were concerns earlier today after some customers noticed their iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max order had been updated with a "Shipment on Hold" status, indicating that "there is an issue with your delivery." MacRumors has been informed this was in error. Apple has since corrected order statuses.

These customers who saw a "Shipment on Hold" status are now seeing a "shipped" status indicating "your item is on the way," with initial shipments scheduled to arrive starting this Friday as expected.

As of writing, it's around 3:00 a.m. in New Zealand, where lucky customers will be among the first to receive their orders in just hours from now. iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 will also be available to purchase at Apple Stores and select resellers around the world beginning Friday.

Those planning to line up for the chance to buy one of the new devices at an Apple Store tomorrow should arrive early, as queues can get quite long, and supplies are limited. Most locations are set to open two hours early, at 8:00 a.m. local time, so be sure to check Apple's store list for details.

As a reminder, customers can click "Track shipment" to track their specific order via Apple.com, or by entering a tracking number on the UPS website in countries where that courier is handling deliveries.

Same, idk if it’ll be here tomorrow, but hopefully it will

Anyone getting a message saying that the "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later." ?

Yes please! Check both and let me know what you see.

That’s weird. Mine is fine, and mine departed at 2:10 in their local time. I wonder if it has to do with the shipping to your area. I’m guessing that they’re sending the iPhones out in rounds to different places at different times so they can get everything on time. I don’t know, mine says it will be arriving tomorrow, and hopefully yours will too!
