Not sure what I’ll do yet. I haven’t been following the rumors so closely and other than camera which will be better, I haven’t seen anything yet that made me say yea I want to upgrade

No upgrade for me this year. The new models looks fantastic but I’m not a massive camera user so I dont think I’ll be missing much by sticking with my XS Max for another year.

If i were to I would be sticking with the Max though. No question.

I think I’m getting all three but not sure. Might be overkill. I might just preorder the pros

First time since 2013 that I’ll be skipping upgrading.

First time since 2008 that I will skip upgrading.

Honestly the phone market has plateaued now. Used to be so excited to get the new iPhone but ever since the X I’m not anymore.

Loving the green color, might upgrade for that detail alone, but not at launch. I will wait it out and buy 2nd hand in a few months.

Hoping I’m impressed next year if not I’ll continue sticking with my max.

Honestly if they would’ve released a max sized X like they could have, I would’ve gotten that and still be rocking it.

Do you really feel like the old updates from say 5s to 6 or 6s to 7 were better than from Xs to 11 pro?

I sometimes wonder if it’s more the people changing than the market.

I honestly am debating going from the XS Max to the iPhone 11. I am on the AUP, but the new iPhone 11 Max Pro just doesn't tick many boxes for me. Outside of the telephoto lens, not much else excited or jumped out at me today.

I love the larger screen size of the Max which is why I believe the 6.1" IPhone 11 would still work nicely even though I lose out on OLED and that amazing brightness/contrast ratio. Like the additional option of colors too. The mint green color is intriguing.

Thinking I need to jump back into the iPad realm (haven't owned one since iPad 2!) for all my media consumption and save a few bucks to put toward one by going with a 256GB iPhone 11 instead of the Pro.

First world problems. /s

5S to 6 was a whole different size, so yes, that was a big change.

6 to 6S was more significant than I realized up front. The increased speed of TouchID changed how I used the phone.

6S to 7 feels like X to XS.

XS to Pro doesn't feel like much of a change at all unless you really place a lot of demands on the camera?

I guess I just don’t get it. We are seeing significant speed increase again and also getting 4 to 5 additional hours of battery life. That’s a really impressive upgrade and Apple silicon doesn’t really get enough credit from year to year. This year feels much bigger to me than X to Xs.
