Is definitely an issue. I arrange with apple a replacement for next week as I am out of country now. Good luck to everyone finding a solution

This thread is funny... You all are just seeing what us photographers call "noise"... google it. My $4,000 DSLR with a $7,000 lens does this. The darker it is your camera will bump up the iso to make the image brighter... so by covering up your camera of course you will see these spots...

There isn't anything wrong with the camera sensor most likely.. it's just high noise.

My iPhone 6 Plus and my wife's iPhone 6 both have a BUNCH of flashing pixels in slow-mo video mode. Both in very different places. I'm going to guess all devices have this, as the sensor is running much harder... It's really easy to see if you:

1.) Turn your brightness up to max
2.) Switch to slow-mo
3.) Cover the rear camera with your hand

Not so bothered, really, as you're unlikely to see them during day-time slow-mo (the only time you can use slow-mo on these devices!).

Yeah I just tested this with my 6 in a completly dark room and I only see it in slo mo mode in a completly dark room, only in Slo Mo mode. I have 2 blinking green pixels when its pitch black in Slo-Mo mode.

It doesnt show in Video or Photo, which doesnt really bother me at all, ill never run into these pixels in my images it doesnt affect my images or videos in anyway

And chances are if im recording in Slo-Mo , its either during the day with light, or in a lit environment, if im in a dark area You would turn flash on for it since in Slo-Mo mode it seems to lose alot of low light gathering capability, lees then Video and Photo

I sincerely hope you are right. Did you read this entire thread?

Download this photo and turn your screen brightness all the way up and zoom in on the red circles, you will see it:

That's not called lit up . I was referring to a normal light not making your brightness high on a black image. I was asking if the hot pixels show up in a Normal video or normal slo mo or normal picture

Which is why I said this issue is made up . Realistically you will not see these pixels in high outside lighting medium outside lighting and low outside lighting. If you see it in any one of these lightings THEN you have a bad sensor but if you are ONLY going to see this hot pixel in slo mo in darkness where there is no slo mo useability then its just finding an excuse to find faults

As a matter of fact I DO see it in slo mo, outside, medium light when focused on dark objects, so it IS there. No one is "making things up". Thanks for the help though...

I just noticed it now. Only noticeable in the 120fps for me and there's two.

Feeling slightly disappointed now  although I won't exchange it for another one because I don't feel like waiting weeks to get it, I can't see myself using slow-mo often and if I do, it'll most likely be the 240fps.

Then show those examples

Seriously lol? Paranoid much? I know what I see. I don't need to continue posting photos and wasting my time trying to prove things to people like you. Neither do the others on this thread that are having the same issue. It is real. I am a HUGE Apple fan. Been an Apple guy for 20 years. Trust me, I do NOT want to find any issues with ANY of their products! I am the last person on earth to make negative stuff up about Apple and their products. Maybe you need to start at page 1 and read this entire thread! I am sincerely hoping this is a non-issue, and just the "hot pixel" stuff some of these cats have been talking about. Cheers!

I don't see anything when on normal brightness. When I turn my brightness all the way up (yikes, that's bright) I see two teensy little blinking dots. Never would have noticed it if I hadn't gone looking for it, and it doesn't bother me a bit.

Mine had a few at first but since I have a 6+ I just twisted the phone into various shapes until the pixel issue cleared up.

Then show it . Pretty easy to show proof by recording and linking it

I registered just to comment. I have this problem only I can clearly see several "hot" pixels simply by going to slo mo mode (seen in 120 and 240fps)! I don't have to do anything else / tricks with the lighting etc. Several flashing pixels are clearly seen anywhere middle of the day in my house. I also records the pixels flashing. I have setup a repair. I already called and they offered to ship me one, but I'll go down and see if they happen to have new ones there.

I refuse to get a refurbished unit or any other unit that isn't sealed in a retail box. I paid too much.

While you still have the phone can you record a video and upload it and share it with us ?

The hot pixels are on the top middle right, and top left corner..I video a darkbcabinet then then off lights so you can see the pixels. They're hard to see but they're there..of course in person it's clear as day. It'd almost middle of the screen on the right, you can the 2 pixels stacked on top of each other flickering.

This is all FUD again -

Wait until Consumer Reports does another camera sensor tests for you and then apple will come out and tell you only 9 people complained. So it must not be real.

Here is a screen shot

You can clearly see the 2 stacked pixels on the right I was referring to in the video above. Open on your iPhone and you'll see what I see.
