iPod Nano Photos?

Makes me wonder if Apple's time machine had a bug ( as if it wouldn't) and swapped Steve's mind with the mind of John Sculley.
maybe the new add campaign will show a cosmonaut taking the iPod challenge on mars.
Let it be known that I am typically very forgiving of Apple's design quirks.

No sir. I think this is exactly what we are gonna see from Apple. I am actually hoping that they will look good as they are going to be small. We'll see. Agree with most that the first impression seeing these photos is not so good, but I bet they are okay. At least better than the new iMac, which I have also started to get used to.

Actually I think that happened because I rotated it... and the picture is slightly skewed because it is a photo of someone's screen. Like I said, sorry for the crap quality... I just think maybe people are all worked up about the Nano suddenly being fatter, when perhaps it will just be a LOT shorter.
That's an interesting take. I think nanos are for people who want smaller and cheaper. Even if it's slightly wider than the old nano, this still fits both.
The Steve has got to be raging, two leaks in a row? Also, i dont think they are that ugly. The current nano's were so small i didnt even like holding them because they were too small to fit in my hand. These look like they would be easier to hold, although since i have an iphone now i wont be getting one anyway

9to5Mac posted what is purported to be photos of the upcomind iPod Nano. The images depict what has been described by the site previously. Shorter iPods in a number of colors.
ThinkSecret also believed that an upcoming iPod revision would see "shorter" iPods, but 9to5mac has been persistent that these represent iPod Nanos.

Remember that they allowed the keyboard to go without Apple Legal, but they removed the iPod interface video? Part of me thinks Apple is just effin with us. Apple realized that people picked up on the fact that whatever gets pulled is real, and switched it up. Pulling fake products, while leaving real ones? Who knows what they're up to... they know they can mess with us with all their elaborate pulling/not pulling of fake/real products.
Or who knows, maybe Jonny Ive got baked and built a crappy looking iPod... no one will know until they're released.
Notice that neither MacRumors nor Engadget was told to take them down.

Nah - not cheaper. I could have spent a little extra to get a 30GB. Sure, I could have got the baseline nano - but it holds next to nothing.
If the other rumors turn out to be true about the main iPod being iPhone minus the phone and these iSquares then this is the end of the road for the white iPod!
I agree that the appeal of this design may be dependent upon the scale of the device. If this design is legit and it's the same scale as a 5.5g iPod then certainly it's aesthetics are questionable. But when you reduce it to the size of something that can fit in the palm of your hand it could easily transition from "fugly" to cute.
In a few years we'll be wearing these things on our wrists like Dick Tracy.
i think it's fake simply because it's just a horrible design. imagine trying to use this thing with one hand....my thumb would cramp up.
