iPod touch iPod Touch 5G Release Date

I bought the iTouch last Wednesday. Today, they have limited colors available because a lot probably was out checking it and looking to buy one. If there's a store near you, it's worth a try to call them 1st.

Thanks I have been trying to get one for a while and the stores wouldn't even tell me the release date. I must have been at my local store last Wednesday/Thursday and they said nothing. I'll pop down again Tuesday.
 
I'm in Canada and my shipment is due for Monday the 15th.

Is there anyone else in Canada who has a delivery date of the 15th+ (UPS) and is seeing the latest update in tracking as Departure Scan from Concord, ON, Canada? Because mine shows that it departed from Concord on Friday night but it hasn't been scanned for arrival anywhere since then. I hope it's because they don't scan on weekends, but I would feel more comfortable knowing others are in the same situation.

Not much ATM. Been focusing on work lately, (Repairing iPhones and what-not for an after school job :L). But I hear we'll be getting them same dates as Europe. Which (As told) is about 2 Weeks. With Luck we may see something Wednesday-Thursday assuming we get them 1 Week after America (Such as the iPhone 5 release). If not then, I don't think we'll see stock till the 26th October.

P.S: Found out though, That Harvey Norman is supposedly the Largest stockist of the new Generation Touch in NZ on Release.

Wouldn't mind a Friday or Weekend release :) But next week isn't too bad either. More time for some cases and a jailbreak to come out!

Yeah, too much hassle. Oh well, at least I have school to keep my mind off it. Just the way NZ is. Get everything last at the highest price. $299US to NZ is actually only $360NZ. We're paying $100 more :/ argh just have to watch videos on YouTube.

Yes, mine looks to be the same. I'm in Ottawa & it's slated for delivery by end of today. Good luck with your order!
 
For people in Europe, someone from the Bordeaux Apple Store just told me they will begin to sell the new iPods tomorrow. I don't know if it's only for France or all European country but it seems likely.
 
Belfast apple store iPod release...

According to the guys at my local apple store, (Victoria Square, Belfast) they will hopefully be selling them on either Wednesday or Thursday. :D
 
Hey guys, for anyone interested, the apple store in eldon square, Newcastle has the new iPod touch 5g's in stock. Was in there earlier to pick up my reserved iPhone 5 and my brother asked about release date of the touch as he is after one. The sales guy was nice and told us they just got them in the morning but didn't have time to put them on display yet but are selling them. My brother ended up walking out with the blue 64gb model.

Hey I was wondering what your shipment date is since i ordered the 22nd. Im still processing and am due for shipment on the 24th 25t or 26th. I am a red 32GB but i am also engraved... I sure hope i get this soon im hoping for next friday or the next.
 
Just bought a blue 64 GB in France at the Bordeaux Apple Store. The don't have them on display but they have them on stock. They have almost all of them except pink but they don't have a lot.

Any chance you could take some pictures of the device? I was originally going to get the White/Silver model, but decided on black/slate. Curious to see if I missed out...
 
Can someone from the US tell me how much a 64GB is in total including taxes over there?

My friend is heading to NY next month and might ask her to pick one up for me and need to know how much money to give her. Thanks in advance :)
