well i ordered mine on september 1st 6:26PM (GMT-UK TIME) and its being shipped to the uk and its got engraving on it. still says not yet shipped.

That's odd. I ordered it around noon(PDT) so I'm pretty sure I made the order after you. I actually ordered a 8gig one around 11:30am but changed my mind and cancelled the first order. But don't worry, they all should be coming soon.
I live in Canada and ordered it about 10 minutes after the pre order page went online and I got an email today saying it would ship by the 14th but UPS's page says it will ship on the 10th! I used standard shipping. So I guess we will see what happens!

. It's interesting that my expected delivery is 9-14 september...
Mine just shipped! It says delivers by the 9th, and I chose next day shipping. So, these should be hitting the US on the 8th, then FEDEX will take over from there.
Mine is shipping as well in Canada. Shipping date today, it delivers by Sept 14.

I did. And it says "Not yet shipped". Ordered just after the keynote as well.
UPDATE 9/8/2010: It has now shipped from Kunshan, CN.
UPDATE 9/10/2010: It arrived at 11:30AM on Friday. I selected 2-3 day shipping when I ordered it.
Mine 2 are now tracking as well from China.
When I ordered my 3g it shipped from China and was at my door three days later (I live in NY). Hopefully I'll see the news ones by Thurs or Friday the latest. I was hoping that they'd arrive on Wednesday, but I just don't see it happening from China to NY in 2 days.
