Good point TS. I still have hard time believing that we will see three iPhone models this fall.

Apple in the recent years is more known about their price decrease of their old line-up for cheaper alternatives, than designing entirely new phones.

There will be three iPhones this fall, one of which we already know will return, the question is is do they all launch at the same time or possibly separate like they did in 2017. So it’s possible that Apple may announce all three iPhones in September, but perhaps certain models might launch in November as the X did last year, which has been rumored possibly occur this year. In all likeliness, expect the 6.1/5.8/6.5.

Indeed no doubt there will be 3 models this Fall.

The iPhone X experiment worked marvelously for Apple, both size wise as price wise. They are now going to double down on the formula with the larger X or, most likely X/XI Plus (6.5").

The only question left is pricing. I hope the new X (or XI) will drop in price to $899 and the larger X (XI plus) will be priced at $999. This way, Apple will have a model for each of the following stripe prices:
$499 - iPhone 7 (old model)
$599 - iPhone 8 (old model)
$699 - iPhone 8 Plus (old model)
$799 - iPhone 9 6.1" LCD
$899 - iPhone XI
$999 - iPhone XI Plus
