I don't know where those Wikipedia numbers are pulled from, but every "phablet aficionado" that I know barely consider anything under 7" as a phablet and a 5.5" would be considered really small.
Wasn't the first note 5.5? People considered that a phablet. The htc m7/m8 isn't that big either. Neither is the iPhone currently. So not every flagship phone is a 5"+ now.

That is why I said the definition of a Phablet seems to be changing.
5 inch and larger devices were uncommon when Samsung launched the original Galaxy Note as a Phablet. Many people were mocking how large it was at the time.
