Is anyone upgrading from a 7 Plus to the iPhone X

Is anyone here upgrading from the 7 Plus to the X? Kinda feeling scared as reddit and some posts here are all warning me it’s a much smaller screen than my Plus but I really feel like handling that new tech so very conflicted whether to get this or get a Note 8 which has similar technology but without the screen size issue. Is anyone here making the jump? So I feel like i am not alone.

Me. I’m not too worried about the size difference. I do like the screen size on my 7+ but sometimes doing things with one hand can be cumbersome for me. So I’m looking forward to having a narrower screen.

Me too, I’m in turmoil to be honest lol.
I want the new tech but I also want the wide screen and fantastic battery life.
I was 50-50 but over the last couple of days I’m prob 60/40 in favour of getting an 8+.
This would keep me on a September upgrade cycle on the upgrade program.
I wish they’d made a X+, I’d be buzzing right now.

You could wait until next year and buy the iPhone X Plus.

Think it will take me a while to get used to the size adjustment but in hand we all wanted something more manageable by hand and at least this will be.

it's just a show of about 60 seconds that starts on October 27th . ANY moment after those 60 seconds, and the show is over...or people don't mind to wait for about 3 or 4 months to get their new toy

(can you imagine someone trying to order the iPhone X 1 day after the pre orders... I feel sorry for them )

The screen size on the iPhone 7 Plus is 5.5” it is 5.8” on the iPhone X

I am. I don't feel like it will be a big deal though. The screen/phone will feel much larger than it is due to the full screen effect. I am actually looking forward to the more compact design.

Personally I think it’s win win, the phone is smaller for those who were complaining that the Plus is to big for their hands, the screen is a little bigger at 5.8” I just wonder how much better this screen is going to be, with HDR and OLED it should be better than watching an HDR movie on the iPad Pro (which is great I’ve watched Wonder Woman so far)

That's likely what I'll do also. Just need to move on from the chins at this point. They look comical.

Yeah going from a 7 plus to an x. Going to be weird as I fell in love with the note series. My last phone under 5 inches was a galaxy s2x.

I'm moving from a 6+ to the X and even though the screen is going to get smaller I'm looking forward to the smaller phone.
Hey at least the screen will be bigger than the 4.7" iPhone and it will have an hour or two more battery life than it too.

I think the smaller form factor will be nice. Especially given how the Plus can cumbersome to hold one handed. The OLED display looks promising and of course I look forward to experimenting with Face ID.

Yes, going from 7+ to X. No need to go to 8+ from a 7+...more or less the same.
Ready for something new...had the 6+ then 7+ so it's time for a change.

Really looking forward to the X Plus next year!

Yep going from a 7+ to an X. I've already got a Note 8 so thought a smaller device with a bigger screen would be ideal.
