Is it seriously uncool to wear studio headphones to the gym?

Ear buds are not comfortable for everyone; I don't use them at all, mainly because I was never able to find a comfortable pair.

They don't bother me, especially if the only alternative is head phones. I see the latter falling off when working out, depending on what you are doing.

I've been wearing the earphones that come with iPods for years now at the gym, but when I'm at home I wear studio headphones. Recently I've started to think that maybe I should just wear my studio headphones to the gym. I'm not really one to care about what I look like to other people, but this does seem a bit odd. Are they really out of place or do you think no one would take a second glance?

I've never seen anyone do this before.

Just do it. Who cares. I think you will ruin expensive studio headphones at the gym though.

I see people with huge Beats headphones all the time at the gym. I couldn't wear an on-ear set of headphones at the gym. Seems like it would get in the way, not to mention I'd worry about sweat damaging them.
