No one really knows something like that (or if the final version of 7.1 will even be jailbreakable).

----------

7.1 improves it somewhat for iOS 7.

How do they know if it hasn't been released yet?

That 7.1 improves that?
Apple made some changes to the Calendar app in iOS 7.1 betas which bring back a few features that the iOS 6 (and earlier) Calendar app had, that various people weren't happy about losing in iOS 7.0, so by bringing some of them back there's improvement.

Is there anything you like a lot less in iOS 7 than you did in iOS 6?

I don't like how the new notification pull down has three different areas (today, all, missed). I wish it was just a single notification area like before.

There is an accessibility setting in iOS 7 called "reduce motion" that when enabled it reduces the animations used throughout the OS, mostly changing the movement/zooming animations that are default (and are generally somewhat slower) to fading animations (which are roughly the same, but might be a bit faster here and there). The end-user perception of animations is different with that setting enabled or disabled, so to compare it's worth trying it with it off and also on.

So do you notice a huge reduction in speediness and flow?

Agreed. It just needs to be a single notification center or two at most. The missed should fall under "all"

You basically have that now. The missed items appear in the all section and you just don't need to go into the missed section if you don't care about it.
