Same with me.
The iOS was going to move on whether I wanted to upgrade or not. So, I just went for it. I have to say, there are a lot of things that I like in iOS 7. It has grown on me.

Is it harder or less efficient in any way to copy and paste pics in text messages or to forward texts?

The "edit" button on the top doesn't exist anymore. So to get that, you have to press and hold a message. When you do that, it will say "Copy" and "More". So copying messages is the same. Forwarding messages requires you to press the "more" button. So, 1 extra step.

Ok, thanks. So to forward messages, it is harder and less efficient. Why would they downgrade their os?

That's extreme. We're talking about 1 extra button press.

And plus, they added a contact button in place of the old "Edit" button, which gives you access to quickly call / facetime / etc with a contact. Before you had to scroll all the way to the top for that. now you dont.

I think you need to actually use iOS 7 before you make your judgements.

Its a long press which is somewhat more annoying. As for contact, scrolling up was fairly simple before by just tapping the status bar at the top of the screen. So minor tradeoffs it seems here and there.

Multitasking between apps and the little delay before you can register a touch. Looking forward to when iOS 7 is as fluid as iOS 6.

It was better in iOS 5/6?? RAM that is.

I believe so. I know I used to be able to take a picture and post it in tapatalk without the app refreshing. That's not just limited to tapatalk but a lot of apps. Never noticed it as much in iOS 6.

Yeah, true

Yeah I can't wait, I'm tired of iOS 5, ready for something new. I just gotta wait for Chpwn to update Zephyr.

I also went from iOS 5 to 7. But I got a new device. iOS 7 is pretty terrible if you're running an iPhone 4. Not as bad on the 4S, but it's much nicer on a 5C/S

I'm on a 4S. Should I stick w 5.01?

There are a lot of reports of iOS 7 messing up the Wifi (causing the chip to overheat and ruin its functionality) on the iPhone 4S. That's why I'm scared to upgrade my 4S to iOS 7. You should read more about it.

Personally, I didn't want to risk losing wifi connectivity.

I don't want to perpetuate any possibly false rumours but all I want to do is warn you in saying that my friends 1 year old iPhone 4S just recently lost wifi functionality. He was on ios7. You can call it coincidence but if this is what people are saying, then I believe it.

Everything.

"Upgrading" from iOS 6 to iOS 7 is like having a sublime French restaurant in your office block replaced by Burger King.

Are you serious?

Oh wow, thanks for the heads up.

Yikes

Calendar is difficult to work with efficiently. Setting the alarm on the clock to spin the "minutes dial". Doesn't stop when you put your finger down. At least I have a tough time making it stop after I give the minutes dial a good spin.

The interface should allow a keyboard to popup to set the time via the numeric keys on the keyboard directly. (like it did on my old blackberry)

I thought that with time I will learn to put up with hideous ios 7 Fisher Price toy theme. I'm offering Iphone 5S 32 gb for trade. I want Iphone 5 with IOS6 back!
