I don't understand why people need to get so offended when someone mentions an Android device. Obviously his first choose is the next iPhone. All he said is if nothing is announced by October he is going to Android. You guys shouldn't get mad at someone because they like something you don't. It's their money, it's their phone let them what they want to do.

100% agree, if i haven't heard of anything "solid" by the end of october HTC will be receiving a new customer, ive been able to upgrade since June, the waits just too long
it seems like a waste to go 3d, the pics remind of the old baseball cards that would show the player swinging depending how you held the card not worth it.

Um no. There was only wishful dreaming done by anonymous forum trolls that went 100% contrary to what Apple stated.
Apple has made no indication of plans for an iPhone5.
Apple stated FALL for iOS5, that means Sept 22 - Dec 22.
It stands to reason that an iPhone5 would likely launch alongside iOS5 sometime during that period.
You got me! I was hired by a company (can't mention their name due to NDA...hint: red fruit) to join forums and "peddle" hype and rumors. I then use all the responses I get to ensure that in the end, you the consumer, are happy with the final product. For instance, I took your above response and forwarded it to our research department. From there they developed an app that monitors all of your screen names and instantly changes them if the user is over 18, and their current screen name has anything to do with killer robots.
Note: I really don't have any affiliation with Apple. Poor attempt at sarcastic humor.
I have been eligible since December...I never got the 4 because I wanted it in white (Epic Fail!) now Im just waiting it out, like everyone else... I understand everyone is excited but we need to be a little more patient for another month!
Nah, they've probably had the dates lined up for a few weeks now. The fact that they don't fall on the days we guess means absolutely nothing.

i know, there's people taking the educated guesses as gospel and then ranting about delays, problems, etc when they're not met! lots of people have lost their common sense....
Are they going to change the naming pattern for iPhone? can't keep going with iPhone 5,6,7....... iPhone 21,22 ..???
why not just iPhone and people can call it the 2011 iPhone or whatever ..
