I just got back from the Apple Store to replace my 6. My first one (ordered from Apple.com) came with some backlighting/dead pixel issues on the top right corner.

Awesome customer support, despite it being launch day they replaced my phone with no questions and got me up and running again!

Did you exchange it for another new box one or go through the Genius Bar and get a white box replacement?

How full is the color gamut and has anyone run any image retention tests? How are the new phones holding up?

I have the LED ON so it will flash when receiving text messages, it works when I call comes in?

It does NOT work--On the wifes 6+ it works perfect, seems silly to take it back for that but looks like I may have to. Any one else having issue with it?

Dead pixel on my 6+ but I'm going to leave it. It's down the bottom where the dock/keyboard/status bars would normally be and it's so tiny and unnoticeable that I had to really search to find it. Not worth the hassle of replacing for a unit that could have even more problems :)

Check out the apps to help try to release a stuck pixel. Look on the app store. Try it out. Sometimes they work.

You were able to walk in and get a white box replacement with no appointment? Maybe I'll swing by tomorrow.

Sorry for the late reply. Yup! Just showed one of the associates my phone and they referred me to a tech specialist and went through with the replacement.

Don't the new ones come in white boxes? How is the box different?

White box replacement refers to the thin white box they keep the replacement iPhones in. They just contain the phone; no charger, lightning cable, or EarPods.

Dang, looks like mine has an issue. It looks like a pixel is stuck on extra bright or something and noticeable when viewing white (it doesn't shine when it's displaying black). Here's a picture I took of it. Image

Tried hard reboots and no luck.

I may go with the call to apple route rather than braving the store again.

Same here. Looks like a trip back to the Apple Store is in order.

Only issue I am having is with calls and voicemail. I think it is just a Verizon problem right now though. Was working earlier....2 hours ago it started happening....

Keep sending it back till you get one problem free.

I have slightly uneven backlight at the top of the screen. Will probably try to swap out but hate the risk of dead pixels more. I'll see how it sits with me over the weekend!

If I'm going to exchange the iPhone 6 online, how long will it take to get the new one? Is it the same amount of time like buying a new one? Shipping time for a new iPhone is 3-4 weeks now.. :/ does it mean, it will also take 3-4 weaks to exchange mine? And will I be able to use the "old iPhone" till I get my exchanged one?

Mine replacement says 15th-20th October. I really hope it doesn't take that long.
A courier will contact you and arrange a collection date for your old phone.

Picked up my 6 Plus last night, set it all up and then the home button and touch ID started failing. The Apple website suggested a restore, so tried that and it kept getting stuck half way through in DFU etc.

Went back to an Apple Store this morning, terrible service but eventually they replaced the phone.

still waiting for my 6+. Hope it won't have any issue. If I do, I'd rather go return and buy a new one. Don't like the white box...
