It definitely makes me more inclined toward certain software over other available options if I can buy it the old fashioned way. Imagine that, actually wanting to keep using the application I paid someone to give me and have it for the lifetime of the device on which it runs. Someone should really convey this breakthrough business model idea to the big shots in Silicon Valley.

While the interface is nice I’m pretty sure my Apple Silicon MacBook Pro can handle its CPU, GPU, memory, fan speeds, etc. just fine without me obsessing over it through third party software.

I see Stats recommended as an alternative. Did anyone tried also Usage? It is part of Setapp (so is iStats), so maybe someone tried both and can compare them? Currently using the free and open source Stats.

Is it 10 bucks or whatever for the length of this version or every month? Sure don't mind paying it once or even once a year but every month?

Like it has been with every other new X.0.0 version, it's just one initial payment for the duration.

Or--like I did with v.4, when v.5 was introduced--use it for however long you want after a new release ;)

👍 $10 upgrade from v6 to v7 is totally worth it for me. I use it occasionally, it always gives me the information I want, and I like to support developers who don't force a damn subscription model on you.

Upgrading from v6 on a "Family" license was only $13 to run on 5 different Macs!

I've spent most of the morning configuring and customizing it, then it's easy to just export your settings and then import on other Macs. Much better than the prior version, IMO.
I don't find it at all better than the prior version. Installed... played around... reverted within 45 minutes. Yuck! Where do YOU find improvements?

Anyone having issues with Disks? Here (intel Mac mini) not all mounted volumes are displayed (Time Machine and an SD card are missing).

Bought through Apple Store on version 6.73. Will I understand the apps are different between App Store Version and download. Will App Store version increment to v7?

Will try open source Stats.
